^^I dunno, I've heard firsthand that he's a huge jerk to women and chronically unfaithful to his wife. I too would prefer not to see him for this, but then Tom Hanks isn't a heartwarming choice either.

Funny thing is that I can't think of many married AND AA winning actors. I presume we're talking longterm married and best actor winning...

But Denzel and Eva were in 2 movies together: Out of Time (2003) & Training Day (2001). I'd say Training Day. The BI says she never spoke to him again after filming.

I don't read it as saying Best Actor and no one on this list really stands out with the clues given, so it could also be supporting or writing(like Damon and Affleck). That said, I have nothing.

That's a great point - I completely missed that. The supporting actors list looks even less promising. However, Denzel Washington got a best supporting actor in 1989. Which opens up the possibilities for 10 years worth of naive ingenues.

Looking at the Best Supporting Actor list I see a few that seem like nice guys with a (great) smile but I don't know enough about them to see if the description fits.

    Sean Connery
    Cuba Gooding Jr.
Tim Robbins (although him and Susan Sarandon were never married, were they?)

Robin Williams... but I am pretty sure he never had a sex scene with a co-star

"he turned on his smile to full wattage" - somehow Tom Hanks smile does not dazzle me.
