well I thought lainey hinted at abuse when she wrote this esp. the word repair... and I never heard that BI before

Madge’s New Bruise
A month ago she was hiding dark bruises under her eyes. Word at the time was that she was undergoing some anti-age repairs. So now is this another case of repair?

Check out Madge in London yesterday with a very suspicious green mark on her cheek that also could be explained away by plastic surgery. And certainly, we all hope that’s the case. Facial maintenance after all is much preferable to falling off her horse or walking into a door. Or crashing off her bike…which have been the explanations or excuses she’s used before.

it could be Madonna as you wouldn't expect it to be her. And I think she has self esteem issues that make her go for abusive men. Probably stemming from her father. I have one story which I totally believe as true. A friend of mine was a showbiz columnist for a major UK paper but now based in Manhattan. Anyway, when Madge and Guy first started dating, my friend attended a big showbiz party in London, in which they were guests. Apparently Madonna was totally the subserviant one to Guy, he spoke to her like shit, she followed him around, he humiliated her in front of others. She ran into the toilets and locked the door, threatening to kill herself. She eventually got talked round to come out but was really crying. All the showbiz hacks know about this but would never report it in the papers as Madonna is such a big name and they don't want to have to prove it or be sued. They get plenty of publicity/money from her so they wouldn't want to alienate their cash cow or her fans.

I got told that there is so much stuff my friend has seen in showbiz circles that cannot be printed. That's how they get round it by doing blinds. Most of them are true.

I know what you mean, that a lot of the BI seem/are true. I was wondering about the fact, that only madonna was considered to be this one. There are a lot of singer-actresses, and a few with a big self-esteem or whatsoever... What about Beyonce? What about Jlo, as mentioned? What about CZJ?

The bruises on Madonnas face are more likely from surgery, as they are directly underneath her eyes... my mom looked the same, when she had something done ;o)

hmmm maybe it is madge. maybe she's only the alpha type on the outside and deep down she likes to go home to a man that calls the shots? but the 'seemingly happy' part doesn't seem to fit. guy and madge have been rumored to be unhappy practically since they got together. maybe jlo and marc anthony? russell crowe and his wife?

i think a lot of women that end up getting beaten are women that are into macho, domineering men that take charge of everything. unfortunately, that's the type that is most likely to be control freaks with anger and violence issues. the only woman i've known well that was a victim of abuse was like this. she didn't like the actual violence but she liked that her husband was the macho type that treated her like a little lady (well, when he wasn't slapping her around), and after she left him she ended up with another asshole. she tried dating nice guys but she said they were too 'wimpy'... honestly, after a while i just lost patience and came to the conclusion that she deserved what she got... you can be a victim once, but if it happens again, you have to start asking yourself what you're doing wrong. it also explains why some abused women go from one abusive man to another. they have a 'type'.

The 'seemingly happy' couple that crosses my mind is Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. But I don't know nothing about them.

I can't see his being Madonna. He might try it ONCE. She has bodyguards that could (and would) kick his ass to Seattle & back daily. I think it is a non-bodyguard woman...

This item certainly sounds suspect. That being said, I often get the impression that Lainey is somewhat quick to jump to a conclusion. Lainey's item says it's someone who puts up a tough image, so Madonna fits, but I'm not sure Guy really fits.

Exactly. Guy might be beating the crap out of Madonna, but I don't think the blind is about her. The clues don't fit.

I think Madonna is a possibility, but she doesn't seem like one to put up with that shit. But I like the Gwen and Gavin guess, except she's not an actress.

I agree she's a dreadful actress, but the reviews for Evita weren't too bad. I'm going with them - his roots are in the British aristocracy and this isn't unknown behaviour for them.

I just considered the 'seemingly happy' as referring to their photo ops. Most people I know would consider Madonna to be in a happy marriage. It's only those who read online gossip that don't.

I agree. Even if it's not Madge and Guy, I think this could just be a throwaway line.

If it is Madonna, the singer/actress would narrow it down for us.
If She just said singer...well then it could be anyone.
Only other singer/actress I can think of this second is Whitney.
