Re: The Belle from Hell! Lainey's Blind Item 07/05
Andie McDowell is a good guess. I think she's supposed to be legendarily bitchy, too.

^^Oooooo good one! I never heard she was a bitch, but I'm not totally surprised either. I loved Four Weddings and a Funeral, and yet hated her preformance in it. She has that gummy smile that I cannot get past...eeck.

Re: The Belle from Hell! Lainey's Blind Item 07/05
I've read in several places that Andie has a reputation for being "difficult," which I always take as celeb speak for "she's a bitch on wheels."

Re: The Belle from Hell! Lainey's Blind Item 07/05
I just read this one on Lainey's blog. My first thought was Sela Ward. I'm trying to make sense of the part where Lainey says she has something in common with Julia "With one multiple difference".

Yeah, that's throwing me too. The only thing that I thought of is that it is someone with one child, and not twins? Twins being the multiple part? Maybe that's just stupid...That double talk throws me every time.

Re: The Belle from Hell! Lainey's Blind Item 07/05
Could the multiple difference have anything to do with cosmetic contracts?
Andie is a Loreal spokesperson, or at least was, for their hair color line and makeup?
Didn't Julia sign a contract with Avon recently? Also, didn't she get canned from the Dior fashion campaign??? I can't quite remember...
If children are the reference, how many does Andie have?

I fucking HATE that old hag Andie MacDowell!!! It's an irrational hate, though, cuz I've never heard anything about her being a bitch or "difficult." I just fucking hate her: her voice, that dumb face of hers, the sickeningly dull sweetness she exudes. Ugh. FUCKING HATE HER!!
I'll don't think it's her, however, simply because I don't believe she's ever had a "glory decade."

I'm not a big fan of hers either - she was lucky to have a film career after they dubbed her voice with Glenn Close's on that one Tarzan movie...Greystoke???
Let's see - St. Elmo's Fire, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Sex, Lies & Videotapes, Green Card... What other movies am I missing...???

Re: The Belle from Hell! Lainey's Blind Item 07/05
Some movie with multiple story lines and Tom Waits. She was married to Tim Robbins, a cop that cheated on her. It's in that same time frame as the other movies you mentioned. For some reason, I can't get the title 'Short Circuit' out of my head. But that sure as hell weren't it. Maybe... Short Cuts? Something with the word "short"?
ETA: I refuse to google her and find out. That's how much I hate her stupid old hag ass face.

^^I'm ashamed I know this...She was in Mulitplicity with Michael Keaton. Not the multiple story lines, but multiple Michael Keatons!

This one reminds me of Faye Dunaway, I guess I've read it somewhere. I'm not sure though...
