Bankrupt Rappers

These close knit rappers (well known) have something in common. They are all broke and living on credit. Bills are going unpaid and they have unpaid markers. During their heyday, they strutted around in mink pants, traveled in private jets; spent hundreds of thousands on bling and paid big money to have sex with adult film stars. They flaunted their lifestyle at every turn, showing off their houses, rented boats and whips on TV shows. They were advised to file bankruptcy last year but they are so caught up in frontin and living the life of rich rap stars that they refused the advice. Now, if they file bankruptcy, due to the new laws, they will have to pay back a portion of their debt, individually.

Hmm well know close knit rappers...no idea. I was going to say Method Man and Redman. But I remember seeing Redman's house on MTV cribs. He lived in a small and modest house. So it can't be them.

There are some pretty rich rappers out there. It's supporting the huge entourages that costs, along with everything else. Status counts more than investing money in something that will yield results down the road.

Chris Rock has a whole riff on white people who strive to be wealthy, while black people like to be rich. Guess who ends up keeping their money longest?

1. Rapper Trina, as of reported from a source. She filed for backruptcy recently in 05' and was reported to loose her house in Miami, Florida. The rapper also allowed Mtv cribs to film her home as well.
