Crazy Days and Nights
#1 - How about another adventure from our actor from yesterday? Not as interesting, but still fun in a car wreck kind of way. Film Festival. Toronto actually. Yay Canada. Party for the premiere of one of his films. Drinks until he is passed out and his manager carries him to his room. Like I said. Not as interesting but hopefully will provide some insight into yesterday.

#2 - Speaking of sight. Wow that was a good segue. This aging, but in no way old or even middle age Academy Award nominee/winner (you decide if he won) for best actor is actually legally blind. Can't read unless it is in HUGE TYPE. Has lots of problems doing action or anything other than staying very close to his mark because he cannot see more than a few feet. When you see him in public, he is always with someone. Always. Never by himself because he can't go anywhere by himself.

#1 just cannot be Clooney. Sorry...not buying it. We would have heard about if from Lainey or somewhere else about the Toronto thing.

Thought it might be Clooney too but nothing on Lainey so it can't be him. I'd love to know who it is

This blind must be old beause the Toronto Film Festivals are held in the fall. That, or its a small festival without much publicity, which I doubt A-listers attend.

#1 Clooney's not in Toronto. Is he talking about the past?

#2 Before I got LASIK I was legally blind without my glasses. Big deal.

He must have been hard up for blinds.

#1 Based on the 2 blinds and the Lainey reports from TFF, this has got to be Joaquin Phoenix. We know he's a heavy drinker (Lainey had a couple of reports about him). From yesterday's blind I think he's referring to the fact that he started his career using his name "Leaf" and really got famous when he started using "Joaquin".

Joaquin sounds more likely than Clooney. Phoenix screams ticking time bomb and Clooney always maintains composure in public. Lainey saw Joaquin at some film festival in Canada and talked about how wasted (and high) he was day and night. Sad if true, considering what happened to his brother.

Yeah, the TIFF is in September, so this must have happened in Fall '07.
