Star Magazine
Which star of a top-rated TV dramedy has been cheating on his wife for the past eight months with a very young employee at a members-only gentelmen's club in Beverly Hills?

Nah, not Shaloub. And I do wonder if it's "cable" or "network."
I hear that Dempsey is a cheater. Is Grey's a drama, or a dramedy?

Could they be more vague please?
Could be about 100 different actors.

The blind says "star" not "one of the stars". I'm assuming the person headlines the show, which is why I pick Tony Shalhoub. Very few married men are the stars of their own dramedy.
Another guess would be Hugh Laurie of House.

^Nah, it's not Shaloub. I have serious doubts about that. From what I've heard about him, he's devoted to Brooke, and is also extremely shy. Not that that means anything, but it doesn't seem in character.
I think it's Dempsey, or someone on a network show.

I'd believe Dempsey over Tony also. He looks like a swarmy one...
But again, it could be anyone and is probably one that we would never even think of.
How about David Duchovney? Wasn't there some BI's about a star cheating on his wife and it was widely believed to be him. He's on a comedy type thing on HBO. Just throwing him out there.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Duchovny.
A friend of mine worked with Tony and said he was one of the most normal, decent people he'd ever met. It just doesn't seem likely. To be sure, Tony is so shy in real life it's startling to some who expect him to be over the top. Not that shy guys can't be cheaters. But he seems to have a good marriage. It's a possibility, given we don't always know, but it just doesn't seem like it would be him.
Again, the BI doesn't say network or cable, so it's hard to narrow it down.

Ehhh... I'd call it a straight-up drama. I don't see any more humor in it than any other dramatic show, certainly not enough to render it a dramedy.

I don't think "star" necessarily means headliner, myself. What else would they use as the noun there? I think it could be a headliner, but it also could be any of the leads on an ensemble show.

^THAT'S INTERESTING! His wife just wrote a book, a thinly disguised portrait of a Hollywood wife.
