I'm thinking it's Kiefer Sutherland. First he has been in movies with all three and it ain't - Robert Downey Jr - some movie called 1969, although I think Kiefer was also good pals with Robert Downey back in the day going so far as to live with Robert and Sarah Jessica for a time. He appeared with Christian Slater in Young Guns and Jack Nicholson in a Few Good Men. Besides Ted refers to this blind as Wrangler Dangler and Kiefer was in some cowboy movie called "Rider up" and Kiefer stopped acting for a couple of year's while he went on the rodeo circuit as calf roper. And we all know how cute cowboy's bums look in Wranglers Kiefer has a well documented history of alcohol abuse recently resulting in a stay at the gray bar hotel. Ted also mentions a "series" which to me refers to TV - 24, and "base" boy which could be guitars, which Kiefer has a large collection of. Maybe Ted mentions the oscar to throw us off because Kiefer won a Golden Globe for 24. Just my thoughts........

This points straight to Mel Gibson. Ted never said this man had not been married. He said he gets into trouble because of other women. He proved to be a belligerent drunk.

He did work for a bit, but his output has been pretty spotty the last five years, nowhere near what he used to do.

Baseboy could refer to his first appearance in a film, not TV. Mel was a baseball player in I Never Promised You a Rose Garden in 1977.

OK, we all know there are certain bachelors in Hollywood, the ones who will never settle down with anything but booze 'n' their little black books. But Dangling Wrangler is taking it one illegal step further: with a chick who's hardly legal enough to fight back. What a nasty freak.

This rules out Mel Gibson because he is still married. It could mean the guy has been married before, but it just doesn't stick.

So now I think it might be Nick Nolte. Divorced three times, many women, a notorious drunk, trouble with the law, and rehab.

Saw Ed Norton and Evan Rachel Wood at the AMC on W 34TH ST last night around 8pm. They were holding hands and looking cozy while they waited for soda and candy in front of us. He paid for her diet coke and M&Ms but got popcorn ("NO BUTTER! MAKE SURE THERE IS NO BUTTER!") for himself. We saw them again on the sidewalk after the movie kissing and smiling at one another. Isn't she like 15? They stole the taxi my boyfriend flagged down for us.

Just thought I would point out that Colin Farrel HAS been married before. A few years ago he married actress Emelia Warner, although it only lasted a few months. Just sayin...
