Default Panache Report 1/03/08

BLIND ITEM: (RACIST & PROUD OF IT)
This white actor's racism (which has been reported before) never ceases to amaze me.

In his presence, you get an immediate racist vibe. He can't make eye contact with black men or women and appears very uncomfortable when he's in the company of blacks, so much so, it's noticeable.

This is the same actor who we reported on last year. He told a black playmate at the Mansion. "You sure are beautiful but you look mixed, you're not mixed with black are you? I hope not!"

A white female he once desired was dating a black NFL player. When he saw the athlete at a club, he broke through the crowd and confronted him, "You haven't slept with her yet, have you? The NFL player looked at him like he was crazy.
This actor also got upset, when he was on a series, a black stagehand was visited by his white girlfriend and her best friend. When the stagehand went to the men's room, he overheard the white girlfriend tell her friend, "What a great endowed lover he was."
The white actor was infuriated and after that day, he made the black stagehand's life miserable on the set.

It's even been rumored, when he goes to high-end department stores, he will tell security that blacks entered the store before him and they may want to keep a eye out in case of shoplifting.

A few years ago, he dated a olive skinned woman who he thought had Native American blood in her. When she informed him that her mother was white but her father was bi-racial. He went ballistic and broke off the relationship, threatening her, "I have to let you go or I might commit a hate crime against you."

He also made his recent significant other get rid of a close black female friend.

It's rumored that this actor allegedly produced porn under a alias when he was practically destitute between acting jobs.
When he did get a job on a series, he hardly spoke to his black co-star despite being friendly to other cast members.

Hints: He's appeared on two TV series,
Late 70's early 80's & then again in 90's.
First show he appeared in was situation comedy.
Spin-off.

NOT: David Caruso, Carroll O'Connor, Patrick Dempsey, Michael J. Fox

I thought this was David Caruso for some reason. He did have a long drought between NYPD:Blue and CSI: Miami. However, over on the Panache Report, he was quickly "notted".

Hmmm, I wonder if this is the same actor that Entertainment Lawyer referred to in a blind item a year ago about an actor donating $10,000 to a White Power organization.

I am totally stumped.

I don't think it's William Shatner, because his first TV series Star Trek was back in the 60's, and then TJ Hooker in the 70's, he made the Star Trek movies in the 80's, and his latest TV series is Boston Legal. I might be missing a series.

And the fact that I know that much about Shatner's career is depressing.

The commenters at PR seem to have settled on Scott Baio.

^^I was just about to say Scott Baio. He did Happy Days and the spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi, and then Charles in Charge.

^^Charles in Charge started in 84 or 85 and went off the air in the early 90's.

Scott Baio did guest star for multiple shows on "Touched By An Angel", which was a popular series in the 1990's. Della Reese would've been the black co-star.

He was also on "Diagnosis Murder", which also had a black co-star, Victoria Rowell.

Hmmmmm...

Hi, first time poster to this board.

This screamed Baio to me too, but the BI hint says that this guy was only in 2 shows and Scott was a regular or star in at least 4 (5 if you count his reality show). I don't have anyone else to offer, but thought I'd share.

I did have another thought..what about Jeff Conaway? His only series were Taxi (70's-80's) and Babylon 5 (90's), according to imdb, he was only a 1-2 episode guest on other shows.

"He's appeared on two TV series"
One that appears to have spanned from the late 70s to the early 80s and the second one in the 90s
Wouldn't that rule out SB as he's been in more than two?

Henry Winkler could fit this. He had a hit with Happy Days, a spin off of Laverne and Shirley. He had a show in the 90s called Monty.

Scott Baio fits, but if he hates blacks, I would see him having a hard time working as a director on shows like the Parkers and Wayans brothers. You know if he had done something, they would have put it out there. He's appeared on at least 4 series, not 2.

Here is another guess: Rene Auberjenois. He found fame on Benson in 1979. He would not be a regular on a series until Star Trek Deep Space Nine, with Worf, portrayed by black actor Michael Dorn.
