Holiday Detox

Some stars you look at with blinders on. She is for me one of those stars. But the glassy eyes are hard to excuse. And the thinnification too. Thinnification to get back to work and in her case assisted by good old cocaine which she apparently did in copious amounts on sets through summer and fall to stay alert and focused and un-hungry. Which is apparently always something she’s dabbled in, only before she was able to actually stop between gigs.

This time however, even though she’s wrapped, she’s taken to taking it home, wreaking havoc in her family life and bringing on serious bouts of depression. After a particularly painful episode with a very young, very innocent witness, she finally went for help. The good news is she knows she needs to stop. And she has a supportive partner behind her. Word is, to avoid public scandal, she’s fighting the beast at home during the holidays under professional supervision.

Wonderful news indeed.

I also don't think it's Jolie; she's been thin for quite some time, and didn't need to "thinnification to get back to work."

I'd say Gwyneth, since Lainey loves her and posted a message on November 29 about marital troubles. But she's thin too -- no need to lose.

But the blind doesn't say "husband" it says "partner." Which could be lover, business partner...Jodie Foster's looking thin and Lainey posted a blog about her at the premier of "The Brave One." She's got two films slated for 2008...

She's lost weight recently, she has a young son, she just wrapped "The Incredible Hulk" in Toronto, and Lainey recently published a picture of her with Kate Moss and said they had "more in common than modelling and dating rockers, though I hate to believe it".

I think Lainey is talking about Jodie Foster. She just wrapped "Nim's Island" and has a long-time partner. She has a history of using cocaine and was charged with possession when she was caught with some at Logan airport in Boston in 1983.

Matching Eyes

Uma and Arky last night at the Happy Hearts Fund gala. Maybe it’s just the lighting, maybe it’s the cameras…but there’s a telltale glassy quality to their eyes that goes very well with the pinned pupils.

My smutty sense is tingling. Maybe it’s just me.

He’s a total beast in that tux though. Bet your boob job these two can go all night.

Uma with Arki

I totally get the Euro Hot. Arpad (Arki) Busson is 100% Euro Hot. Am all over it. And Uma is too. Uma’s last boyfriend Andre Balasz was cut from the same mold.

Only Arki allegedly has some very bad habits. Ones that Elle Macpherson supposedly couldn’t be around if she wanted to stay clean. And while Elle’s vice was officially alcohol, rumour has it she didn’t want to quit the drink only to take up the blow.

So here’s Uma with Arki last night in London. I’m just saying she’s looked better… that’s all I’m sayin’.

I agree with the folks who say Angelina. I've thought that Heroin was Angelina's drug-of-choice (making her so EXTREMELY thin, and apparently very moody)...but Cocaine fits as well. I've never bought Angelina's total *transformation* into Mother-of-the-Year...I always thought she still has some very dark things going on in her personal life, that she tries to keep hidden from the public/everyone else, while PRETENDING that her wild days are behind her. In my opinion, someone as wild, eccentric, druggy, & mentally unstable as she was (not that long ago)...doesn't just transform into this *Perfect Mother/Partner/Charity-Do-Gooder*. People don't just TOTALLY change. I think Veingelina's got some serious hidden-away skeletons in her closet. My opinion

Its not Angie. I really love the Gwyneth guess, but I'm going to throw in Reese Witherspoon. She's been working a lot, Jake is a supportive 'partner', and she has young children and no one wants to believe she's on dope. Lots of people would suspect Angie.
