Entertainment Lawyer 10/17/07

#1 This B list actress. Actually she should be C, but when you win this award it kind of keeps you at a permanent B as a base no matter what. She was invited to an event the other night but none of the pap recognized her which really hurt. So she did what she's been doing for awhile now and started drinking. Not just a little at the reception, but just stone cold hammered. She was one big drunken mess and staggered, cussed, and tantrumed (yes I know it is not a word, but fits nicely) her way through the whole night. Rude was an understatement. Any thought that came to her head immediately came out of her mouth much to the consternation of all her fellow guests. After about an hour of this, the organizers asked her to leave. They probably still can't hear anything from the the screaming she did at them. But she did leave, and promptly threw up all over the car that was sent to take her home.

#2 This power lesbian couple could be on the ropes. Seems they are having arguments common to any long term marriage, but the one who is a B+ actress has decided she doesn't need the aggravation any longer and is wanting someone younger and more attentive to her needs.

If Portia is B+ (and it has to be them, right?), then how can Tom Cruise be considered B in the last EL blind? Man, Hollywood is harsh!

Marisa Tomei makes sense for the 1st one, as does Mira Sorvino. Both won that dreaded Supporting Actress Oscar, and then just sort of faded...

#1-Jaime Pressley? I saw on another board she got upset that the paparazzi(sp?) didnt recognize her and she started yelling at them.

Didn't Jaime Pressley just have a kid? I doubt she'd be running around getting hammered. Have there been any valid stories about negative behaviour from her?

I really don't think an Emmy guarantees B status. TV stars come and go so quickly.

I like your guess and for #2 it has to be Ellen & Portia. The only other lesbian power couple I can think of is Melissa Etheridge and her girl and I doubt it's them.

Why aren't there any photos of this?!

Likely Marisa Tomei. Jamie Pressly would have more recognition, being on a hit show, and the award clue fits Tomei better than Jamie. Don't think it's Mira Sorvino, she's busy being married with children.

I also wondered about Mira, but like Jaime, she has a young family at home (and a hot younger husband, but that's besides the point here). I would think/hope they are more responsible than that?
