Default Actor and a gun

Quote:
Okay, so I *know* this sounds like the stuff urban legends are made of, but I heard this from the mouth of Postal Paul himself.

P.P. had a certain Fox comedy a few years ago that he could not WAIT to get off of -- hated the show, hated the writing, hated everything about it. Despite all efforts to get off this show, he couldn't, so he BROUGHT A GUN INTO A FOX MEETING AND LAID IT ON THE TABLE.

He swears this is true.

The show (which was awful) was cancelled immediately.

POstal PAUL = ED o NEIL? Nah...O'Neil shoulda known that he
couldn't get work outside of Married with Children. He was
once cut from a movie because people in the audience shouted
"Al!" and "Bun-dy! Bun-dy!" when he was on screen,
thus ruining his serious acting.

And wasn't that guy from "Roc" on UPN? He did serve time
and he committed manslaughter, so if he put a gun on the
table, I'd believe he'd use it.

Ok, I'm reaching here, but I saw like an E! True Hollywood Story about Jeff Foxworthy. He had a show on Fox (I think) a few years ago and HATED IT. He hated the writing, the grind, everything. He doesn't try to hide this fact.
Not sure I can see him bringing a gun to a meeting, but it's possible.

'You might be a redneck if you can get out of a contract by flashing a gun and threatening bodily injury and scaring the living shit outta everyone in the room.'

OK, I did research on this, Jeff Foxworthy did have a TV show called Banner Times in 1993. There is no other information about it, like the network, so it must not have last too long, and Jeff doesn't have it listed on any of his sites, as previous work. For this blind item I definitely put my money on Foxworthy.

Wow, I never would have thought of him, but it sounds likely.

Jeff Foxworthy wasn't happy with his other show. It was kind of odd watching it, they had the normal sitcom situations and then would throw in bits of his redneck routine word for word. I think that's what ruined it for me.

After all, he told the gossip hound. The star confessed.
The last time a star confessed to anything
was when Sharon Stone admitted she was
such a bitch on one set that they pissed
into her hot tub and she soaked in it.

I could totally see Foxworthy, a rube, confessing.
"After all, I didn't shoot nobody..."
