Could it be that a certain former sudsy stud has returned to his old habits - in more ways than one? Sure, the work is good for the current kiwi, but recreating that iconic body image has been a bit of a chore. Rather than go the bulimic route (again), he's gotten hooked on crystal meth - which is de rigueur given the boys he's partying with. With his Cheshire smile, he's never been at a loss for male companionship - especially guys who are willing to eat him alive.

It's Guy Pearce. Started life as a competition level teenage bodybuilder, then starred in Neighbours. Starred in Ravenous about canibalism. He's looking rouch and uber skinny recently from pictures i've seen. Check out his main pic on IMDB, he looks like a classic meth addict. I didn't think he was a Kiwi, but turns out his father was New Zealander.

Both Guy and Heath are Aussies. Guy has always been skinny - even back in his "Neighbours" days.

Yeah, I hate the thought that this is probably Guy. I've had a thing for him since LA Confidential.

The "iconic body image" fits with the whole Memento thing, where we saw him shirtless all the time with the writing all over him. Plus, I remember back when Time Machine came out, he was super-skinny and there was a blind item about a bulimic actor that was most likely him.

I was surprised to read that he's been married since 1997, though. I had no idea.

He's also prime for bulemia as he's always had severe body image issues which is why he got into pumping iron as a kid. He's probably quite badly disorphic like most builders.
Very similar to my first thought for this blind, Adam Rickitt, who was a teen bodybuilder who went on to be a soap star and then was last spotted in New Zealand looking tweeked to his eyeballs and anorexic... There was BI about him a couple of months ago i think.

I'd never heard of Adam Rickitt until you mentioned him, but I think you're onto something there. From reading his Wikipedia bio, he fits the BI perfectly.

He's a former soap star (Coronation Street), according to Wiki "he is known especially in the tabloid press for having an extremely well-defined "six-pack"", he has admitted to suffering from bulimia in the past, he's a "current kiwi" (on a New Zealand soap since last January), plus he's gay, which fits the BI clue about "the boys he's partying with" and "never been at a loss for male companionship".

I think you've solved it (and I also think I can breathe a sigh of relief that it's not Guy ).

Heh, i was stupid to not go with my first thought, he was born in Cheshire too...

Atlhough that said there is definately something wrong with Guy these days, hes been looking skinnier and skankier for a while now.
