They say the wife is the last to know. This is the case with a popular black female singer. Not only is her husband cheating with women off the Internet, he's using her money to lavish them with gifts.
While the singer works like a dog to put food on the table, her loser non-working husband lounges on the computer, posting ads on dating services when he's not watching Oprah, stretched out, with his feet propped up, clutching the remote in one hand and holding a can of beer with the other hand. He's real trife.
He's pimping her big time, she's his instant cash flow and meal ticket and she doesn't seem to care despite family members questioning her about his lack of motivation.
He's so sorry, he can't even order out or cook for her when she returns home from a local performance. He expects her to cook dinner for him regardless of how draining her performance might have been.
He tells his boys, he hit the lotto. He never expected to be retired from doing anything while still in his 30's.
Hint: It's "NOT" Mary J.

The reason I think its lil mo is an article she did in Sister2Sister magazine where she talked about how she and her husband fought all of the time because she worked so hard and all he did was sit at home and wait for her to bring home the money. She said she actually held a gun to his head when one of the ladies her husband was cheating on her with called her house. After the gun incident, she said he got his $hit together and they got married but he still doesn't have a job.
Toni Braxton's husband for some reason just doesn't hit the mark. Mint Condition was successful ENOUGH for them not to have to worry about $ on his end...I'll try to find stuff about both -

I can't think of any popular and married black female singers. Sure Toni Braxton isn't popular anymore, Whitney is divorced and my third guess is Yolanda Adams but I did a little research and she's divorced too. Keisha Cole isn't married likewise for Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Brandy. Damn who is it?
