Reese Witherspoon was in Legally Blonde.. she guest starred on Friends.. but I dont think her career is necessarily fledgling, just not as huge as it was circa Walk the Line.
Denise Richards, on the other hand, is in the movie Blonde and Blonder thats coming out (like any of us are going to go see it) and also guest starred on Friends.
The 'lovely' reference has to mean something though.. I cant figure it out..

Hayden is starting to become the new default guess for blind items about out of control drunky/drugged-out actresses.
I almost said Aniston due to the friends clue, but even though her film career sucks, I don't think anyone would describe it as "fledgling" as much as "languishing."

I might be just grabbing at straws but:
Christina Applegate guest starred on Friends. A movie of hers, Just Visiting, had an international title of My Lovely Fiancee. And her most famous roles have had her playing a blonde, ditzy character.

My first thought was Jennifer Aniston too. The 'friends' reference, she's considered lovely by some (not me personally, but whatever), and its been rumored for YEARS that she is a coke whore. AND lets not forget about the alleged new boyfriend who was a coke fiend himself....

All good guesses as any since the blind is so damn vague except none of these actresses have fledgling careers. Even Hayden has been working more often than not in her short life.
For no discernible reason Anna Faris popped in my head; she didn't get her big break until Scary Movie (2000) and she was in the movie Just Friends.
