It's not often you can shock me anymore, but this one comes close. This former A list film actor who is now a TV regular but no longer A list recently got divorced. The reason given of course was irreconcilable differences. In reality, he beat the living crap out of his wife. What is worse is that after beating her he didn't want her to go out in public to be seen and commented upon so he locked her in a two room suite in the house when he wasn't there or when people visited. When friends would visit during her incarceration periods she was either on vacation or out shopping depending on the circumstances. She finally had enough and got a huge settlement to keep it quiet.

Whoever this is about deserves ALL the settlement $$ she got - what an ass.
I doubt it was Sheen. They have kiddos and you can't just lock them up too.

Sheen is currently the highest paid actor on TV-his show is a big hit, so this sounds more like someone who fell from grace. james woods? was he ever married?

James Woods was divorced twice - the last time in 1990 according to IMDB. Charlie Sheen seems right, but I agree about both the kids (hard to lock them up) and the fact Denise would have made this public, I think.
David Caruso - he got divorced in Jan 2007 - sounds like it could be him.

^^ Good question. I think he was on his way to A-list, but his career suddenly backslided. Now he's a TV dude.

1. james caan is an awesome guess, but he was divorced in 96.
2. Keifer is a great guess as well, but he also filed for divorce in 96.
3. the blind says the actor is no longer A list. Keifer is because of his show. and charlie sheen is because as i said, he is the highest paid actor on television.
