Crazy Days and Nights
--This '80s nighttime TV star has not aged well, but it's her personality that could use more augmentation. A hardworking small-screen actress early in her career, she became famous as a sweet and unassuming wife in a hotbed of scandal, but in recent years has found work harder to come by (and the lure of excessive plastic surgery irresistable). These days many would view getting cast with her about as fun as landing themselves in a leg-hold trap. At the end of one shoot, in addition to the usual logo-embellished crew jackets given out by the production team, a second set of "ordeal-by-fire" souvenirs were secretly handed around: t-shirts that read "I survived [production name] with [actress' name]!"

--Despite oft-denied rumours of substance abuse and difficult behaviour, this onetime TV A-lister has continued to have a career as unlikely as the "plots" of her top-rated '70s series. Guest star roles and movies-of-the-week are a far cry from the pin-ups, dolls and lunchboxes that used to feature the faces of her and her costars, but in recent years her attitude and behavior are always somewhere between diva and demon. So hated was she on one particular set, seconds after her final scene wrapped and spies confirmed she'd left the lot, the director wheeled in a case of champagne he'd had chilling to thank his long-suffering crew

^I agree with you on Farrah Fawcett, not sure on the first. Is she crazy about plastic surgery?

I change #2 to Suzanne Somers. Everyone on her show hated her and couldn't wait for her final scenes to be over.

#1 Lynda Carter stood by her man when he was in legal trouble, but I'm not sure if she's had any work done.

Could refer to Lynda Evans role on Dynasty in the 80's...a HUGE hit. The years have not been kind to her and her plastic surgery is absolutely awful. She was the daughter on Big Valley (I think that was the name) with Barbara Stanwick prior to that which was also a hit show in its time.

Yeah, I think you're right in her role as Crystal Carrington (sweet and unassuming) wife of Blake. She wasn't really famous in Big Valley but on Dynasty she soared.

I think #1 is Victoria Principle who played Bobby Ewing's sweet wife on Dallas

#2 is harder. You have to assume it's either a Charlie's Angels actress or maybe Three's Company. Anybody for Laverne and Shirley? The problem with them all is I can't think who I've seen or heard recently was involved in any Movies of the Week.

victoria principal is a good guess.
farrah was the ultimate pin up and she did have a doll. don't think suzanne somers did.

I don't think the 1st is Victoria Principal because honestly, her PS is not THAT bad. She is still very attractive and I don't think she has been in any movies, TV or otherwise, in many years. She has been mostly promoting her skin care products on cable. But I've been known to be wrong before

All of these are good guesses to me, except for Linda Evans. But the name that far and away stands out is Cybill Shepherd. Her arrogance, bitchness and difficulty are legendary.

I'd go for the Cybill guess if it wasnt for the sweet and unassuming part- Victoria Principal came to my mind also, especially since she was married to a plastic surgeon...

#1 I'm going with Loni Anderson, first I thought of.

#2 has to be Farrah, with unlikely plot lines and pin up, lunchboxes, and dolls of her co-stars, and the only jobs she's been able to get since are the movies of the week and guest-star rolls. He left CA after one year because she thought she was such hot stuff.
