Hmmm....This is an interesting Blind Item, and i can't think of who it could be. The clues are tantalizing & i feel like i should be able to think of at least a guess! My random thoughts:
When "cheekbones" are referenced, it usually is used to refer to a person/people of beauty. What couple is comprised of a girl and a guy who are both equally classically beautiful? Perhaps even good-looking in a similar-looking (i.e. "matching") way?

Obviously the guy is in so deeply into cocaine with this chick, that it sounds like it's a life-threatening situation. This couple is HARDCORE COKEHEADS! (Who the heck could this be??!?) And the

"put him on the map", that this B.I. is about some guy who was a *nobody* before this girl he's in a relationship with, made him famous.--Probably by starring together in a movie?--that's the impression i get. And it sounds like this girl is known to be a bad/negative influence, since it says that people think it would be a good thing for the guy to
"make the cut", i.e. get away from the girl. And from the wording, it almost sounds like he *used* the girl to further his career, and got what he wanted (his career has been furthered), but now he is in too deep with this girl now, even though staying with her is now at this point detrimental to his professional, and personal, life.

WHO THE HECK IS THIS girl-more-famous-than-the-guy, hardcore-cokehead couple, who are both very beautiful, who starred in some project together (that probably involved him or her or both of them dying of a drug overdose) that made this formerly-unknown-guy famous???? I keep thinking of Sienna Miller (widely rumored to be a cokehead) and that movie "Factory Girl" she stars in as Edie Sedgwick who died of a drug OD. But is there a previously-unfamous guy who she hooked up with that fits this B.I.? Can't think of one. Hmmmmm....
