Well....the first thought that came to my mind was Clay Aiken. Although, the weirdo who was claiming to have had an affair with him has slithered back into the woodwork, so right now I don't see anything preventing a celebration at the moment. Plus, I hear Clay's going to be doing a large press junket for his new album soon (Leno, etc.), so I wouldn't say things are really bad for him right now. If the album had been coming out earlier in the year, I'd say yes. Clay was certainly beleaguered with tabloid crap the first half of the year.
Not to mention, this is a UK tabloid and I really doubt they care enough to write about Clay Aiken over there. Could this be referring to a UK singer?

Robie Williams would be a big possibility, I'm pretty sure he has something coming out, but I don't think its until later in the year.
