Tale of Two Grooms

Groom #1 was recently married, publicly devoted, demons supposedly tucked away, and yet was seen driving his unmistakeable vehicle into a hotel parking lot the other day. A hotel parking lot in his home town, where his home is just a few minutes away, and his wife was occupied in another state. There was no business meeting scheduled, there was no professional reason to be there - and yet and yet. Whoever could he have been up to?

Then there's the friend, Groom #2, also recently wed, also known for hard core hittin', the two shared one memorable evening just one year ago, even after #1 was claimed off the market. It was an evening involving multiple young ladies, a pool, naked swimming, a Hummer, and a long night of down home loving. Two seasoned horndogs feeding off each other and off Jim Beam, living the debaucherous life - it was a night to remember and perhaps the reason why #2's new wife curtailed their celebrations, wary of what might happen should her husband be tempted by the high times of the past.

Can these two grooms be tamed? The second perhaps. But the first? No one thinks no. No one at all.

Oh man. Ben & Matt fit the bill, esp Ben being the first Groom. He's been in his home state, allegedly not drinking/gambling anymore and wifey is in AZ.

Well, the problem with this blind item is that there is no mention of the fact that Matt and Ben are both fathers. But, yeah, that's who I thought of first too. Too easy?

I don't buy Matt Damon as groom #2. I don't know, he just seems like one of the only decent people in hollywood.

Yeah - groom 1 could be Keith Urban, lives in Nashville but wifey is in LA -isn'nt she ? No point in rehashing his demons but it was significant enough to be in their pre-nup wasn't it ?

The other reason that I believe it's Urban and a friend, is the mention of Jim Beam and that is made in Tennessee.

I think Ben and Matt too, mostly bc there have been rumors forever that they used to be together....perhaps that is why Jenny from the block didn't want them hanging around together....

I'm with Sunrider and anunmom. I remember seeing an article about Urban buying himself a Hummer at the end of his tour. Not sure about the other groom.

Damon and Affleck just seem a little bit too obvious.

Lainey's just said it's not Matt and Ben. Think more recent.
Keith is a great guess, but I assumed the grooms were mates... I don't know who else around him got married recently.

The only one I can think of that is music connection & recent wedding is Kid Rock. Totally guessing here.
