CDAN 06/04/12--The Actress that won't eat

This actress is a solid B list. Everyone knows her name and would recognize her instantly in pictures. She has been in the business for a long time, but only does movies and is not that old. When she was still a teen she was in a movie with a very well known actor at the time. Heck he still is. A very big actor. Anyway she was so enthralled with him that she would follow him around the entire time she was on set. When she became legal, he took her out to dinner and they had sex. He was dating someone seriously at the time so there was no way he was going to continue to see this fling. He told her when he left her that the reason was she was too big for him despite her probably weighing 100 pounds at the time. For the next five years, the actress was in and out of therapy and rehab because she refused to eat and thought that she would never get anyone again. Later they did something else together and she starved herself for a month before filming started, barely eating enough to stay functional. She thought he would be pleased, but he never even noticed her size although he did welcome the opportunity to sleep with her again. This time they had sex almost everyday of filming. Again at the end he dumped her and she said that she thought her world was over and had no idea what to do anymore. She did meet some special right after and he convinced her she was too thin and they began to work on her self-esteem issues together. She dumped him though when a chance meeting with her former flame happened. This time he convinced her they would be together forever, but again, it was not meant to be as he was still with the same woman as their second time together. For the past several years she has swung up and down health wise depending on her therapy and still believes that somehow she can get this actor who she thinks of the love of her life to notice her. When she knows they will be somewhere together is when it is the worst as she stops eating to the point of passing out but for the past few years he has not even acknowledged her presence even when they are in the same place.

ETA the timelines, her age, him being in a longterm relationship but not married, their working together 2-3 times, it all fits. Purportedly she had a huge crush on him during the filming of the first Pirates flick, and begged the director for a kiss scene. I even recall some rumor about her semi-stalking him, trying to buy a house near him or something--a few years back? Plus she's looked much better for a while now, and they haven't worked together since the period where she looked really anorexic, off and on.

Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire? She was 17 when filming started and they had a fling during Spiderman 1, she got really upset when people asked about it, where he allegedly threw her to the side after.

Kiera and Johnny work too, I like that guess.

Both are really good guesses Kathie & Deaddwarf!
Kristin & Kiera have both been guesses for drug/anorexia blinds in the past. I also recall reading that Kiera was up for the Sweeney Todd movie but Johnny said NO. In Johnny's past is Kate Moss and Winona Ryder both who have at times been extremely thin.

Keira sounds perfect for this... She was born in 1985 and would have just turned 18 in 2003 when the first Pirates was released.

Tobey is probably a B, I just don't think he's big enough for this blind. I'm going with Kathie's guess. Johnny has always been with the tiny waifish type and keira is too tall for his taste. Too bad she took that to mean fat rather than tall.

If it was Bosworth I can't imagine who the love-of-her-life actor would be. But I love to think of Aleksander Skarsgard as being the guy who convinced her for five minutes that she was too thin, and tried to help her through her issues. He seems like a pretty good guy.

But yeah, probably Keira and Johnny.

Even Kirsten and Tobey fit better than Bosworth and (?). But for the life of me, I can't imagine who on earth would ever have considered trying to call Keira or Kirsten "too big" or them buying it. Neither of these two has been anything but thin even at their healthiest looking. Now Bosworth once had a pretty buff body (in Blue Crush). Still not too big, by any stretch of the imagination, but I can see how, in comparison to the usual bobble-heads, some asshole could have gotten away with convincing her of this back then. It would explain why she threw away her hot body to look like a death camp victim.
