10 yrs too early; blind item from Lainey 3/01

10 years too early

Believe me, you ALL know her. The good news is she's working. But the poor thing is bitter. Bitter that she was born 10 years too early, unable to capitalise on a Hollywood that is now run by young, wild things. On the set recently, got a call from her agent. Bad news - an opportunity lost, a small role she desperately wanted. She ran back to her the trailer, screaming profanities on her cell phone that even I feel uncomfortable repeating. In between the cussing, there were echoes of Nancy Kerrigan. 'Why??? Why??? Why couldn't this have happened 10 years ago. It's not fair!!!'

And unfortunately her day went from bad to worse. Technical changes pre-empted her scene and she was forced to wait just a wee bit longer before getting to work. But reserve your sympathy for the PA who had to tell her and who got an earful of 'How dare you f*cking treat me like this' before having the door slammed in her face. She then proceeded to sulk for the next hour and refused to come back to the set until a producer arrived and ass-kissed for an eternity before cajoling her out of her trailer. And you wonder why she never really made it beyond B???

The only person I can think of is Janice Dickinson, but is she an actress too? She's bitter in life w/a capital B.

I don't know about Janice, she's way older than 10 years too late. Makes me think that this lady would be around 30-35...

"wild things" makes me think Denise Richards or Neve Campbell. They're in their 30s are are definitely not A-list. Neve at least had a good run on TV but Denise is like 35 or something and hasn't "made it".

This may sound a little crazy, but with the Nancy Kerrigan reference and never making it beyond B, I'm thinking Kristy Swanson, from the movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer...but do we all know her?!

If it was Tara, there would have been references to her drinking, so I don't think it is her. Alyssa Milano is a good guess because we all know her. The other one, Kristy Swanson" I've never heard of, so it can't be her, because it said "we all know her".

Lol, yeah, I didn't think that Kristy Swanson was famous enough! So, she is a very well known B level actress, in her 30's who used to party hard and isn't working much these days.

God, that's hard! Alyssa Milano is working on Charmed, so I don't know about her.

I think it's Alyssa or someone like her.... read the item again... it says she's on set, so she IS working... a producer had to beg her out of her trailer to come to work because she was sulking about the a small role (probably a movie role) that she didn't get. That definitely sounds like a someone on a tv show, someone about 30, who might have been a little wild in their younger years. I don't know how much partying Alyssa got up to, but I'm definitely leaning toward her for this one.

If Alyssa was in her early 20's now, I think she'd be a hot, young up and comer.
