Has anyone seen the Makeupalley makeup board? That has got to be the fastest board on the internet. These women are obsessed with makeup, especially when new products come out. They really know their stuff because they buy and try everything. You hit refresh and there are 300 new posts. They seem to favor MAC, Bobbi Brown, Nars and Laura Mercier. They will spend $60 on a new eyeshadow product.

I'm another that loves MakeupAlley. I always go and read up on a product before I buy it now. There's been a very few products I've liked that have been panned over there, but they're pretty dead on. If only 23% of people would buy it again, I'll pass on it.

hyaluronic acid injections are becoming cheaper though and they last about a year and a half

I love the Clarins range for oily skin. Very pricey, unfortunately.

I always carry a small roll-on sunscreen, Nivea Visage Young moisturiser, and either Chapstick or Nivea moisturising lipbalm. That's all I'll use, day-to-day. Generally, I shun makeup; when I do wear it for important events, it's just eyeliner, lipstick and sometimes a bit of blush. Literally the only times I've worn foundation have been when I've had to put on gross pancake crap for stage makeup.

My sister's makeup and skin drawer confuses me. Sometimes I think I'd like to know a lot more about it... but on the other hand, I'm lazy.

Some things come and go, but the things I SWEAR by:

I put Oil of Olay sensitive skin hydrater on every morning, have for years. If I miss a day my skin doesn't look as good at all.

Aquafina lip balm. It gives a little tingle when applying, and gives just the right amount of moisture to my lips. Comes in subtle flavors too, mmmmm.

Rx Retin-A

Omega 3 Fish Oil Vitamins and Evening Primrose Oil Vitamins make your skin glow. And the fish oil make your nails stronger and longer and your hair shine. Plus they make you feel calm and happy.

Garnier shampoos and conditioners are amazing. They make my hair shiny and easy to come through after conditioning. Love them.
