I used to go through hell with this pale thing trying everything from MAC to Prescriptives custom blended shit and I stumbled upon this; try the Covergirl fresh complexion concealer. I used to mix ivory with buff beige. The Buff Beige concealer is really light and works really really really well for me. I've used it for spot application, with a dry sponge, and with a wet sponge and all are great. Also, a super AWESOME cheap powder is NYC pressed in translucent and the loose powder as well. This will not turn orange on you and USE BLOTTING PAPERS!
I used to use the lightest pressed powder by Almay but the cost is so much more compared to the NYC stuff and it didn't make my skin freak out. It's funny I even use the Covergirl stuff because all their other shit makes my face flip the fuck out.
KILLING ME WON'T BRING BACK YOUR GOD DAMNED HONEY!!!!!!!!!!
Come on, let's have lots of drinks.

“Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love."
Sedu's flat iron. I have possibly the most unmanageable hair in the world.

I swear by covergirl concealer (the liquid one). I have very fair skin & use Ivory. I have tried others but always come back to it. During summer, when makeup tends to not last long, I use it and then follow it with tinted moisturiser. Winter I follow it with mineral powder foundation (maybelline mineral power).
God, that is one of my favorite episodes ever.
I've cut out using any products that are tested on animals. At first I thought that would mean I have to use, like, HIPPIE products, but I don't. Avon, Christian Dior, Clarins, John Frieda, Estee Lauder/Clinique, Crabtree & Evelyn, Revlon....these are all cruelty free. I've given up any standbys from Olay, Cover Girl, Maybelline, L'Oreal/Lancome, Dove....they are big on animal testing.
Avon cleanser--can't live without. The ANEW skincare line is phenomenal.
Christian Dior lipstick is perfect.
Estee Lauder foundation is perfect, too.
Beauty Rush lipgloss by Victoria's Secret
Matrix Amplify hair products
Cover Girl foundation in Ivory
Great Lash Mascara, Maybelline
Clinique Skin Care, Lancome is great too
Dream Angels Heavenly perfume
Japanese Cherry Blossom Products, Bath & Body Works
Pear Glace Products, Victoria's Secret
My handmade castille based soaps, my current favorite is Monoi de Tahiti, a coconut blend with monoi oil.

Here are the products that I continue to buy when I run out:
L'oreal Double Lash Extend mascara
Aveda All Sensitive moisturizer
Cetaphil face wash
Origin's A Perfect World serum
Burt's Bees Lip Balm
Bumblee and Bumblee Styling lotion
I'm still fumbling around with all my other products. I am in a constant search for the best of everything.
Beneath the sun of summer a sea of flowers won't bloom without the rain.
Bare Minerals make-up
Great Lash mascara
Cetaphil cleaner and moisturizer
Dr. Bronner's soap in various flavors
Neutrogena anti-residue shampoo
DiorKiss lip gloss
Dr. Bronner's Lavener Coconut Organic Lotion
^^i also love dr. bronner's soap.
my swear-by product is olive oil for removing eye makeup & moisturizing my legs & elbows...it's the best ever.i also really like a local goat milk soap that i use.
eta: ooh, best lip balm ever: Merry Hempsters: Hemp Balm
white, black, puerto rican/everybody just a freakin'/good times were rollin'.
Jojoba oil for makeup removal (and I sometimes leave a little on as an overnight moisturizer).
Everyday Minerals makeup--much better than Bare Minerals (and I like Bare Minerals, too); I love the "intensive" formulation, and the "matte" one is great, but I can't recommend the "everyday glo" type, which doesn't work well on my skin, so I just don't know whether it's good for others.
I always have a couple of Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer sticks but am currently really into Neutrogena Soothing Lipsheers instead. The Neutrogena one is less clumpy and sparkly--it looks more like a stain but is moisturizing. Very cool.
Anything by Zia is good--I found their products after searching endlessly for things that won't irritate my super-sensitive skin. I have used their various face cleansers and moisturizers, as well as body moisturizer. Never a single problem--just good stuff.
Mane & Tail leave-in conditioner for my wavy hair so it doesn't frizz.
Love this thread. I'm definitely going to try some of the things on these lists.

Olive oil for remover is amazing, and my grandma swore it was what made her look so young. (She had very few wrinkles around her eyes.)
I bought the Merry Hempsters Balm last time I was at the supplement store on your recommendation, and it is my new favorite. Very nice product!
^^glad you like it!![]()
white, black, puerto rican/everybody just a freakin'/good times were rollin'.
Lily - which Avon cleanser?
I need a new cleanser.
Looks like lots use Cetaphil. I should go back to it. All the dermatologists recommend it.
I've been using Skin Milk without the scrub. It's gentle but I'm bored with it.
