Woman who never removed make-up for 2yrs

I have a friend that never really takes off her make-up. She sleeps in it every night and then whatever comes off in the shower every morning is considered her make-up removal. She puts it right back on THICK when she gets out. She's 38 and looks 48. As an aside, she also invests in high end blue eyeliner that she wears thick over her pink eyeshadow. It's 1990 all over again.

everyone knows not removing your make-up clogs your pores.
i admit was too drunk last week to take my make-up off and the next day my skin broke out like crazy. i can't imagine what her skin must look like beneath all that foundation after 2 years of doing this.

also, if you don't remove your mascara your lashes can break off.

I know me too, always always take mine off but I have horrible skin so i have to, I always brush and floss my teeth too

of course I dont go out much and come home fucked up, but when I know thats gonna happen I put my pj's in the bathroom and put the clearasol pads out (easy make-up take off) and I'm anal about my teeth for health reasons so even drunk I have a conscience lol

I love applying and wearing makeup, I even do it when I'm just relaxing around the house. But to sleep in it and refuse to wash it off? That's just gross and harmful to the skin. She's doing it because she's got some problem with her self-esteem, but ruining her skin and looks in the future isn't going to help any.
