Just now saw Rita Wilson on Ellen. She's turning 50, as is Ellen in January. Rita's hair has been lightened and it looks fabulous. She looks amazing.

I saw a woman last Saturday up at OHSU. She looks amazing with gray hair. I wanted to yank it off her head. A really cute blunt cut bob around the ears (obviously an expensive salon cut), and it was extremely healthy and thick. Not one split end, and not one hair out of place!

I think gray looks gorgeous on some ladies.

Not sure what I'll do when the time comes. I guess it depends on how soon it comes.

Wel who said grey was a bad colour!? As I mentioned, girls are doing it to be trendy now.

I'm an ash blonde and so far, no grey. I highlight my hair every couple of months, but that's it. I will probably go white naturally the same as my paternal grandmother who had the same hair colour as me.

I think it's an individual decision and let's face it, silver or grey or white hair looks good on some people and not so good on others.

Oh gawd I remember when I used to pluck greys out of my "skunk streak" - you know like Bonnie Raitt has right up front at the forehead. It only made them grow in thicker and faster

I think grey looks amazing on some women. Valerie Pain looks better with grey than with brown IMO. I hate seeing women with really dark hair with white roots, they look like their balding.

Ugh, that's me^ triple, quintuple ugh. I HATE that. And my hair is a light reddish golden brown. That's why I do my roots every three weeks.

There are things you can do to delay hair going grey. Taking zinc is one thing. Here's a link to something that looks interesting (scroll down to bottom):

I think it looks great on some ladies. For myself, I think I'd probably colour for a while, just because I'd love to try out some new, lighter colours, and I think that would be easier on greying hair. It's too much effort now.

I do pluck my very occasional greys. I can't help it, they seem to stick out away from my head!

Both of my parents greyed only slightly after 50, so I'm hoping for the best.

I did put permanent dye on my hair a few days ago after I told myself I was going to stay away from that because of the possible link to bladder cancer. I'm not thrilled with my natural mousy brown, though.

I think skunk streaks a.k.a. "forelocks" look cool, Mira!

I know, they look good on everyone but me! I hate the old pics of myself when it was still showing. Not good on me. But great on Bonnie Raitt and several others...
