Looking at that article my eyes right now look like a lighter version of the 'hazel' eyes - where there are so many colours it's hard to distinguish just one. But my eyes are 'light' (whatever that means haha).

It's no surprise I have green eyes, I'm English, my mum is Scottish and my Dad's side is Irish. I've got naturally dark hair, pale skin and light freckles on my nose.

You just described my eyes, except the iris is a mix of blue/grey/a tiny couple of spots of brown and very very pale blues... don't wish to have lighter eyes D, mine are so freaky that on some photos the iris actually looks white....

However I've also been told that they're changable, with reflective light from my clothes or apparently they go green when I'm in a bad mood. My team very kindly told me this, and said when my eyes go green they leave me alone...

Very, very green, and I love them. They're one of the few facial features I like, actually.

This is as close to my eye color that I could find. Like I said in my earlier posts, they are extremely sensitive and become red and irritated often.

    Talking Interesting subject

My eyes are so dark brown that they are almost black. I love them & have never wanted any other eye colour. I also get complimented all the time on how beautiful they are, which I always found strange because I always thought most people do not like dark eyes.

That sounds like my daughters eyes!

My husband has stunning cornflower blue eyes. I love them and always wanted that color. Or pale aqua like Bo Derek.

My mother's eyes were pure dark chocolate brown, and my father's were greenish blue. My eyes seem to be a compromise.

I have a friend who always wears colored contacts. Finally I asked her why and she told me that her real eye color is too strange and has actually freaked people out. So I had to make her show me.

Well, she was right: her irises are the weirdest shade of pale yellowish-amber!! I have NEVER seen eyes like hers on anybody else. They have a dark band around the outer edge, too, which just intensifies the unsettling effect. Definitely disturbing, she looks like a cat alien. But very cool, though.
I had a friend in high school with YELLOW eyes, no flecks of blue, green or brown. It was striking. I have never seen anything like it since. She was very beautiful. And she said people were creeped out by them too, always comparing her to a cat.

They are now green, quite a bright green, and more so when I cry. Though a friend the other day said 'I love your blue eyes' so who knows, maybe I'm on my way back to blue!
That`s weird! My two sons & 1 daughter were also born with blue eyes, then changed to green, hazel finally brown, and now I noticed as they are getting older they seem to be getting lighter again. I thought I was imagining things.
My goal is to be happy with my life.

Me blue, but they get really blue-green if I cry and greyish if I get really mad, sort of washed out...mood eyes!! Wish they could get red for rage
