Geez, I went to the airwrap link and got all excited, sounds perfect cause I try to avoid heat styling. I have fine, flat hair plus frizz prone, so I would need the airwrap complete. $550!!

I'm a Solano girl. I've been using them for about 20 some years. In those years, I've bought three or four. One was a replacement because I dropped it on hard bathroom tile and it cracked. This was before I found out that you can send your dryer to Solano with a $20 or $30 check and a description of the issue and they'll fix it. I'm not 100% sure that they would fix body damage, but they might.

I use the old school Super Solano X in black and red.

But, I got about $300 in amazon gift cards for my birthday and I'm really thinking about buying the Dyson airwrap.

ETA - I just checked online and they are gouging people on Amazon. One seller has it listed for over $1000. Dumb.

I really want one of those new fangled Airwraps. Somehow, someday, I will have one.

My hairdresser had a dyson and eventually hated it.
The *only* tresemme product I am allowed... is my hairdryer. It’s great light, super-fast but not quiet.
I had long thick hair & it made it faster to dry. Now I have short hair and it takes me no more than 5 mins from shower wet to styled & dry.

Nov, do you know why your hairdresser hated it?

Sorry no. I just know it was expensive and not as good as cheaper ones. It was a novelty item for her I think?

This is funny to me. I would never think about a brand name hairdryer. I buy whatever one I can get for $20 when my old one goes out.

I have figured out that tourmaline hair dryers work best for me, as far as my hair being less frizzy.

but even lighter and more powerful, and also way more fucking expensive, is the dyson supersonic hair dryer. their vacuums are overrated but godamn that dryer is good. a friend of mine has it and my hair guy switched to these at his salon too and they are insane.

So happy i read this review. I have a lot of hair and it really thick and heavy, if i do not blow dry it (here in the tropics) it starts smelling musty and it takes ages to dry. I have been eyeing this one for a while. it convinced me. I need this
