How often do I need to do the pepper and oil thing for it to work? I hope it's no more than once a week or I'm afraid my boyfriend will up and leave me for a chick without crap in her hair!

well you just mix some grated peppercorns in with slightly heated olive oil and rub into your scalp and sleeep with it. I use a lot of pepper and put the olive oil all over my hair too. I'll be honest with you; its a bit of a drag to wash completely out but its all out by two washes and it doesnt look bad after the first wash. Just like you have a lot of product in your hair. Also try to stimulate your scalp if you can with a comb or bore-hair type brush before you put it on. I think stimulation really helps. I've seen it help other ppl and i think its been helping me. Then wear a showercap or towel to bed for heat and to keep it off your pillow and go to sleep and wash in the morning

If you do start any regimine like this; be sure to photograph your scalp and hair up close at the beginning so you can compare what it looks likes in a few months to where it was before. It will really help you out with how you choose to proceed with your regimine.

Now that's some good advice, Alice! I didn't think of that. Instead, I messed up qite a few pillow cases. I'm glad it's working, by the way.

My hair is very short, and a friend who is a stylist told me that scalp stimulation does make the hair grow. Mine grows crazy fast! I mean like a hair cut every 3 weeks. If I go 4 weeks, my hair is crazy. It has to be the stimulation, because it certainly isn't my diet. It sucks-and I take no vitamins...

My hair grows fast and it might just be luck, or maybe its because from an early age my mum told me to rub my scalp alot, apparently it promotes hair growth. And when youre washing your hair, really massage your scalp at the same time.

My friend who had cancer lost a lot of her hair during the chemotherapy. She uses Ovation shampoo and conditioner. She says it really works. That her hair has grown in faster and thicker. But I've heard it's really pricey though.

^ whoah really! i keep hearing those commercials and just think they're bullshit, but she says that, i would really consider it too if i had a problem. I might recommend it to my mom who has resorted to getting extensions done
