I'd like to have a bit of a color, but I kind of look dirty when I get a tan. It seems to look good on anyone but me. So very pale I am, with natural raven hair. Makes me feel weird when I'm side by side with a tan girl in front of a mirror, though, lol.

    I am naturally tan.
I also have to go to the Dr.s every 6 months to get my moles cut out. I am now waiting on Biopsy results of a mole. I have already had a melanoma.

    So tan=chemo

Pale is better for me because I'm worried about skin cancer. My dad had it, so I figure I'm a prime candidate. I'm paranoid about tanning beds, too. I'll probably wear a little bronzer this summer, but I don't think I'll do the fake tan thing.

I love being tan, I think it makes my face look healthier. I don't look so tired and worn out with a tan. I usually start tanning around this time of the year in tanning booths but I've been too lazy so this is the palest I've been in a while.

I know it's a risk but I know that I take pretty good care of my skin. When I'm not tanning I use SPF, I lotion up everyday and I exfoliate. I know I might pay for it in 20 years or so but I feel it's not any different than say...a smoker. Sooo, tan all the way!!

Something like this... I just look better with some tan...
I'll use tanning booths few times to get some color, and then let sun do the rest.. I don't use very high spf factor while tanning outdoors...

I love my pale skin but definitely find myself wishing for a spray tan when I step into a swimsuit or something sleeveless and I'm not big by any means! I do think that with being pale I have to use more makeup too--the skin on my face is practically translucent!

On a side note: People are strangely unforgiving if I--shock, horror!!!--go out with bared pale skin. Like I shouldn't show my legs at all in their NATURAL color!

I like a soft tan, both from the Jergen's lotion, and an occasional visit to the tanning bed (mainly in the Spring) until I open my pool, then I do use sunscreen.
I'm a gross color naturally, not a pretty pale. One of my sisters has beautiful porcelain skin (different father), if I had her color, I'd never tan!

I'm another pale celt However, I used to have 3 mins fast tanning once or twice a week. Not enough to tan but enough to sort out my skin, head & make me feel better!!
I worry about skin cancer to as I'm really moley & have already had a couple removed (benign) & my Dad & his mum both had melenomas removed.

Very pale naturally. I love being pale. Some of my friends who tanned a lot in high school are starting to wrinkle now that we're in our mid-20s. The most tanned I've been in years was last summer when I played outside with my daughter a lot. I always use SPF 45 because I burn so easily. Personally, I don't think I look like myself when I'm tanned, know what I mean?

I get my legs and arms tan. But I never, ever get my face in the sun. I also use maximum block on my chest, and the backs of my hands. I just use bronzer on my face to even everything up. I've seen women my age who would sit with their faces in the sun, who now really look weathered. I'm lucky my mom was always a nut about sunscreen.

It's totally wrong, for so many reasons, but I too love to be tan. I feel better, look better, just puts a spring in my step. I hate to admit it, but it's true. And it doesn't matter if it's from the sun, a bed or a bottle.

I had a mole scare once and vowed to never go in the sun without sunblock.

I hope the test turns out negative for you, I know the scary feeling of waiting. I was pretty ignorant about it during my teens and being olived skinned that tans within hours I always thought it could never happen to me.

Even in the winter I use a spf moisturizer and never go without big sunglasses.

A girl I once worked with always justified her tanning by saying fat looks better tan!
