i have lincoln park after dark now for both my nails & toes. i love chick flick cherry & not really a waitress too.

No, I know just exactly what you mean. I'm the same way with reds. There's the one I see in my mind and I can describe it, and I can point out all of the ones that I don't like, but I can never find the just right shade.

Have you tried Chanel's Vamp? It's a classic color... I can remember my mom wearing it in the mid 90s and being freaked out that she had such dark, vampy nails... but it's a little bit more fall-ish cherry.

i'm a big fan of vamp and have worn it for years.

my quest for the perfect blue red is different though. there are many dark dark reds like vamp that i love but what i'm looking for now is lighter, a true red. but a blue red. but every one i try seems to be either too dark or too pinkish.

i think i need to try opi's vodka & caviar.

That OPI looks like a good blue-red. Of course, color on monitors and all, so you need to see it in person.

Rescue's Killa Red is a good blue based one, along with Glamourpuss- which is a neutral red- not too blue or orange. Nars' Jungle Red is blue based too, along with their Shanghai Red.

Reds are hard, especially nail polish, because when it dries it can be such a different color than when it's in the bottle.

I almost always have red toenails but this weekend went with a light fuschia color.

I think that's what I have too...they're navy. I did eggplant for the longest time.

Any really dark burgandy suggestions? I've been wanting to try that next.

I want to find the polish on her nails. She's Lisa Eldridge the makeup artist so I'm guessing it's not cheap polish. Just trying to break out of my cranberry red and red pedicures.

It's not OPI, Chanel or Essie.

Neon orange. I do neons in the summer and I mean real neon that are so hard to find. Not these bright polishes claiming to be neon. I would post it but I don't know how from my iPhone. It is Sun Worshipper by China Glaze.
