The color you like has much more depth-maybe even go a tiny bit darker. You are going to look smashing!

I think you are gorgeous. In my opinion, you look a lot like Emma Watson (also, gorgeous). I had the same dilemma when I was about your age. My hair is naturally blonde and as I aged my hair remained the same color but my eyebrows turned black. I, personally, hated it and decided to dye my hair dark to match my eyebrows. Big mistake! It was not flattering at all and took years to correct the color. Now, I bleach my eyebrows. As long as you are very careful not to get the bleach in your eyes it's not a big issue. I do think that a warmer shade of hair (like Rachel McAdams) would be stunning on you and I absolutely LOVE Alexis Bledel's hairstyle in the picture you posted. You're young so have fun and change it up. If you hate it you can always go back.

I have the same coloring as you. I also lighten my hair and have black brows. I can't go as light as you have yours though or I look too washed out, as I think you do, no offense. I do a multi hued blond coloring. My stylist does about 25% very light, and the rest a mix of medium to darker medium blond color. It makes my hair look like it's naturally highlighted. You should get your colorist to weave in some low-lights, a lot of low lights actually. That will really soften your face. The dark brows look good as long as the hair color is not too extremely pale.

Its definitive ; I'm going to bleach my hair like Rachel Mcadams on the picture & the haircut like Alexis.

When I told my family and friends I would bleach my hair a darker blond they almost killed me lol. They dont want but they know its my decision and they told me that the new color will probably look great on me!

What do you guys mean by 'wash out' through? like it take my 'beauty' away or something? lol my first language is french, sometimes I'm not sure what some expressions means.

Btw about a week ago I styled my hair a bit like the new haircut I will have (bang on the side) and heres the result.. whatcha think?
still think I should cut it that way?
& dont forget, I dont want stupid comments like that I should re-shape my eyebrows >.< LOL

Vanessa, "washed out" signifie que tu as l'air fatiguée, que tu ne rayonnes pas avec cette couleur.

Oh don't do it yourself! Go to a good colorist and get some dimensions in your hair. All she/he needs to do is weave in a lot of low-lights. Out of the box color always looks so fakey. Not well done. Also I've never seen anyone who does it out of the box have hair that is vibrant and shiny. Honestly a good salon will have good ingredients. If you don't know anyone call around and ask for someone who specializes in blonds.

Yes - those are both very good. Give them a try.

I don't know what she said, but "washed out" means there is very little contrast between your hair and your skin and I agree with the others...go for a honey blonde. The light blonde you have now doesn't suit you. In fact, I think you would look fabulous as a redhead (like Lohan used to be).

Dark eyebrows & white blonde hair was in "vogue" in the 90's!

The last photo on the first page doesn't look too bad. I think the makeup might be making the contrast - eye pencil & the light/whiteish eyeshadow you are wearing.

Do you have another photo without makeup - or a different eyeshadow colour?

You need some blush or bronzer babe It would make it look way less harsh.

what you need is to stop letting your mother do your hair...go to a trained expert colourist and stylist...you have a porcelian complexion (jealous) you need a colour that will be complimetry to your skin tone...think nicole kidman the red hair suits her the bleach blonde does not...i actually think you would look amazing with jennifer aniston's hair colour and that way your eyebrows would suit the colour...you are very pretty but the bleach blonde 1990 madonna/black eyebrow look does not do you any favours!!

see even your brunette friend has lighter eyebrows that you..the contrast of the white on black is much too harsh..if you do insist on having such blonde hair it is essential that you would have your eyebrows lightened...please trust our advice and go for a darker shade of blonde..but for that to be sucsessful you would have to go to a salon!!

I love the way your hair is styled in the above pic! It's nice and way different from what girls your age usually do. Also, please lose the white eyeshadow!

My natural hair colour is kind of mousey and like you I have really fair skin. Just recently I had half a head of blonde foils put through my hair (I go lighter as summer approaches). My eyebrows are quite dark but my hairdresser said that the next time I go back, and have a few more foils put thru, she will also weave some brown through it so that my eyebrows don't look too dark. I would not alter the colour of yr eyebrows but instead talk to a hairdresser about going a slightly darker blonde (more honey coloured) and maybe adding a few foils of darker colour.

believe me, you need to go to a professional to get a good blonde colour. and not just any professional, you have to do your research and go to someone who specialises in blondes. especially if your hair is naturally dark. it's not cheap but it is definitely worth the investment. i'm sure you love your mother but unless she is a professional colourist, you have to go to a salon.

i'm naturally blonde, and even i have trouble finding a good colourist if i want to get highlights. most of them either like the trashy, cheap brassy look or they don't know how to make it look natural. you need a professional who will put in several different shades (lowlights and highlights) and make them look natural. also, someone who knows how to put in highlights (handpainted, instead of just poking bits of hair out of those perforated rubber caps) so they don't grow out horribly but rather in a more progressive way. they have to know where to put in the highlights so it looks natural and not just like random stripes of different colour hair.

i also agree with la folie that you need to lose the white eyeshadow. i don't think you need any bronzer but some natural looking blush would be nice.
as soon as you get a darker, more natural looking hair colour you won't look washed out anymore but it will also help if you invest in make up that flatters your colouring more. i don't think there is anything wrong with being pale (i'm pale myself) but it is important to know what flatters your colouring and what doesn't.

and no, you don't need to reshape your brows and don't listen to anyone who tells you that you should. same goes for lightening/bleaching eyebrows - it always looks weird and wrong, i'm definitely not a fan. i love strong, arched brows and you have them. the only shaping they need is to pluck out the hairs that fall outside the line.
