See, my beaches are pretty much all model bodies as well.
See, Whores, we are good for something. Love, Florida
^^I've seen pics of people on Miami Beach and other Florida beaches and I would definitely copy Novice's beach attire to go there.

I have Blackpool, so no model bodies there, not that you could tell under layers of coats and jumpers.

I go to Gunnison. Very few model bodies, but definitely lots of people "baring all".
we have fitness model and regular types. plus hippies who look like they need to bathe.
This gal is fat and she's lucky she still has a waistline, gives her some definition. Though she's definitely pretty.
All of God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.

We went to nudist beaches, I still hate being slathered in thick sun cream. We went from being 5 to our teens & there was never any pressure to go nude/wear swim wear/t-shirt-shorts/etc; it was very none-judgemental. In fact as it was nearly all families everyone understood when the girls chose to wear bathing suits/clothes/etc. I don't remember what teen boys wore though.
It did give me a certain body confidence, maybe it was just a great leveller?
The other thing about kids is logistics. When it's just the two of us - it's really spontaneous and easy, and we are totally aligned with where we want to go and when. With the kids, you have to plan ... and plead ... and cajole..... It would definitely lose some of the magic.
Well I just thought that if you did take your kids it might be useful to know an opinion from someone that did this as a kid -> teen.
My neighbours kept telling MrN's (87-90yo) uncle that I needed to wear more than my underwear when wandering around the house (inside I might add!); I replied "they were lucky that I had underwear on......."
Seriously, we got dragged all over the place as kids, art galleries, chateaus, historic buildings, beaches (m-i-l-e-s from anywhere - we were told to take a book!!!), every-single-****ing-battlefield in northern France.....
