oooh, try to wean yourself off carmex! It's really bad for your lips. There's some agent they add to it that actually dries your lips so you use more and they sell more. It's probably the worst lip balm/chapstick out there. I know I probably sound like a broken record to some of the people on the board b/c I've said it before, but it's just so bad for you! To give you an idea, brass musicians baby their lips, they must stay in absolutely perfect condition because it essentially is their instrument so they are always using chapstick to keep them moisturized. Brass musicians will not touch Carmex. They will actually choose nothing instead of Carmex if it's the only thing available.

    Sorry for the bummer notes

I was told by a doctor there is acid in Carmex and it can eat the skin on your lips. I was told never never use it if your lips are really chapped or wind burned, you can get a pretty bad infection. Dont know how true it is but I havent used Carmex for years.

Is this the same as Blixtex? It comes in a tiny white pot and looks like vaseline and makes your lips tingle when you apply it.

Carmex is pretty much identified by the yellow packaging. The pot of it is a yellow sort of greasy looking consistency product in a tub where the bottom is white and the top is yellow. The chapstick and tube are a yellow bottom with red top. It also has a really distinct smell to it.

YSL touche eclat concealer, (it's no longer a want, it's a need!), lip gloss, a spray of any of my many fav. perfumes, and earrings.

I'm very low maintenance. Clothes and car keys are about my only essentials. I've lived too long dealing with lost luggage. It is amazing what you can survive without. But not water and soap. Oh, and toothbrush and paste. Ooops, I'm making a liar out of myself.....as my list gets longer.

I like Blistex Moisture ~~something or other, comes in a blue tube?~~ It does that tingly-feeling-to-the-lips thing.

Lip gloss. I might have it in my purse or stuffed in a pocket, but I'll always have it with me.
