Is it bad that I don't do anything to my skin? I think I've used a mask once, but other than that, I don't do anything. I even sleep in my makeup (eep!) yet I get compliments on my skin all the freaking time.

I used to be able to get away with that. Not any more.

Add a couple of drops of glycerin($4) to your palm while applying daily skin moisturizer. A couple of drops of Glycerin and rosewater for the face. Add a cap full of Grapeseed Oil($4) to your bath. Drink a liter of water with 1tbsp of real dead sea salt to cleanse the body entirely.

Share your home made skincare tips and recipes
Does anyone here have any DIY beauty that they want to share? I'm always interested in trying natural and DIY methods to beauty and skincare. Here are my tips:
-home made vitamin c serum recipe, great for your face
-peppermint oil as a lip plumper, I put it in my glosses, also cayenne pepper works well too
-coconut oil as a hair conditioner, love this stuff
-sugar scrub as a skin exfoliator - sugar and olive oil for the body and a refined sugar and olive oil for the face, use weekly
-amla oil to strengthen hair
-I also take vitamins: biotin for hair, omega 3 fish oil for skin, hair and nails and a complex B
-sweet almond oil to remove makeup

I TOTALLY agree with the omega-3 & B complex. So important!
Also, apple vinegar for brunettes makes your hair shine. Lemon juice for blondes.

-Diluted raw apple cider vinegar as a facial toner works great. It's a natural AHA.
I make my own vitamin C serum too.

Novice says she uses rosewater on her skin-I wonder if you can make it? Anyone? I am in love with this idea! The smell would be heaven.

Vitamin C serum is amazing. I have noticed a big difference in my skin since I started using it over a year ago. It really helps smooth out fine lines and sun spots disappear. I love it. I would much rather make it, knowing it's stable then to spend a fortune on a store bought one that you have no idea if it's stable or not.
I'm going to try your ACV facial toner idea.

^What are you mixing your vitamin C with? I use a little glycerin and water and make only enough to last a few days in the fridge.
