Ok, for all of you who wax "down there"...be honest, HOW bad does it hurt? I've never had it done but I am seriously considering it...do they numb you at all? Ice, anything?

I would never touch it. I have hairer than 'normal' arms and in some lighting they are dark brown, but in most lighting they are golden, so i'm not too concerned. I notice the excess arm hair around the time i had an eating disorder; my friends are like 'wax it and it might not grow back if its just hair from the anorexia, but i am not taking the chance. I believe in leaving hair well alone unless its thick, and black. Plus who needs the stress of waxing arms on top of armpits, bikini lines, and legs- no thanks!

I shave my legs and underarms, and go for a brazilian bikini wax twice a month. I'm currently halfway through the laser procedures for my upper lip-wish I could afford to laser everything off, honestly.
Bella-I have a friend who does her forearms too, but there's no way in hell I'd start something like that. The hair goes blond from the sun during summer anyway, and sometimes in winter I bleach it, makes it nearly invisible.

My Scottish Grandmother never had a hair on her legs or underarms.
My Mother barely does. Did I get that wonderful trait? Nooooooooo.
I checked on lazer-they said my hair wasn't "dark" enough. Waxing seems best, but for some reason I got little burn places last time-on
my legs and upper lip from two different people! The leg burns were the worst. Now I'm scared of that! Back to shaving,I guess.

Does anyone use an electric shaver? I want to try it but I dunno if they're worth the price...

I just shave and use nair. I'm too afraid to wax. I heard waxing is too painful and I have also heard the laser hair removal might be connected to cancer.

I'd like to know this too. Honestly, if I had the money I'd have it lasered off permanently. For now I just shave it off (which sucks).
Sorry, I just don't like having coochie hair.....
Even though I'm brunette, somehow lucked out w/ fine, blonde leg and arm hair. I shave my legs maybe every 2 weeks in the summer. Armpits get shaved twice a week.

I used to have blonde hair on my legs, now its black. Is that unusual? Is that the result of shaving for so many years?
