Even though my eyes are greenish, I think this is a fab combo. Beautiful shades and a nice match.

Question for y'all: Macy's has a bunch of makeup counters (MAC, Prescriptives, Clinique, etc.). Which one would be the most affordable and most effective in teaching me how to do my eye makeup like a pro? I have some serious stuff coming up June 1 -August 8, and after that, I plan on treating myself to someone fun (without a serious price tag like a designer item or a vacay).

^Any of the women who work at the makeup counters will be happy to give you a lesson about applying eye makeup properly, expecially if they know you're going to buy stuff from them. As far as I know, when it comes to makeup counters at Macy's, Clinique is the least expensive.

I had a terrific experience with a woman at the Nars counter at Edmonton's Holt Renfrew; it was quite the tutorial. I've had good experiences with Clinique as well, though I've never gone to them for eye makeup specifically. The only thing Clinque ladies seem to do that bugs is talk about the "science" behind their products when it's really clear they don't quite know what they're saying, lol. But ultimately that doesn't really matter, since you wouldn't normally be hearing that info about a product anyway.

    Avon makeup makes me itch.

I'm all about good brushes too, they make all the difference in the world. I also am a firm finger blender as well.
