I like the first one best. She looks like a different person.

They never show people with curly hair in these type of articles. My hair couldn't handle any of these cuts, unless I spent an hour blowing it out. All of the "befores" were straight-haired women too. I feel like curly hair is often ignored when it comes to discussing hairstyles.

Yeah, but all these before pics are bare faced and you can't tell me this one woman didn't have her under eye bags removed....a haircut doesn't do that.

That's the best "after" Hyman photo I've ever seen. Usually, there's nothing there.

I agree the haircut doesn't do that, and I was commenting in general. She just looks better in the after shot after all the haircut, make-up, photoshop, etc..

I'd love to be able to pull off a super short cut like the red head...but unfortunately I don't think I could.

You have to have like...really good bone/facial structure to pull that off.

The brain doesn't need blood. It just needs to be kept wet.

exactly what i was thinking. they rarely show cuts for curly haired women and when they do, it usually shows the hair that has been chemically relaxed or blown out.

Even 16 years after it was created, The Rachel still makes the list TWICE.

That poor woman with the bangs...it's like they covered up her best feature (eyes) and accentuated her worst (nose). All she really needed was a side part and some layers for volume on the top. Those bangs just scream "look at my big nose!"

Thank you. It pisses me off no end. I don't really want to straighten my hair, just smooth it out and have a cut that works with my thick, often frizzy hair.

That's the haircut I'm currently growing out. I've had it since October of last year and I do love it but I have the thick, unruly, curly hair that they like to pretend doesn't exist, lol. I can wear it curly but I have to spend the time to scrunch it up, hit it with the diffuser and then go back in with a curling iron to tidy up the pieces that aren't as curly. I can blow dry it straight but then it's pretty fluffy so I have to hit it with a flat iron. Either way I do it I'm spending at least 20 minutes on my hair with this cut. The other thing is that it doesn't look so hot if it's been 6 weeks or more since the last haircut. Right now I just don't have the time or energy to keep up with it. I'll probably end up with it back in some layered, generic do.

I love that first cut. I had something similar last summer.

The rest of the cuts didn't impress me. And the one of the chick with the bangs is just horrible for her.
