    lol

i think maybe the benefit of the fish is that their tiny mouths go everywhere, not just the flat areas you can use your pumice stone on. kind of like that liquid callus remover some salons use. they just paint it on so it's more 'precise' than a pumice stone and it can also dissolve the hard skin around your nails where you wouldn't use your stone. plus all the rest of your skin.
basically, i think the fish kind of do the same thing as a paraffin treatment or a good exfoliant, except it's more fun cause it's live fish eating your feet

Makes me want to vomit. My feet are awful and toes gross me out; I'd never get a pedicure. And fish are freaky as hell to me, unless they're on a sushi plate.

I'd try it and see how I felt about it. I love getting pedicures and having my feet feel smooth and look pretty, so having the fish do the work is fine by me.

Like I say, my feet are super ticklish and I can't normally bear even a normal pedicure but I was a brave bunny and tried the fish. It wasn't exactly relaxing or comfortable but it wasn't as bad as I expected once I squealed through the first couple of minutes. They really do get into every nook and cranny, between the toes, etc so more efficient than pumice or other scrapers. I'd do it again so I guess I'll have to go back to Thailand. Damn.

I'm wondering how disgusting your feet must all be if using a pumice or ped egg isn't enough? Eww you're all crusty (but I mean that in the kindest most caring way)

Well I admit my usual pedicure routine involves a hammer and chisel so I get your point.

My dog likes to chew and lick feet. You can come over to my house and try it. I swear I kept trying to hide my feet from her the other night and she cried until I let her lick my heels. I think it's my imagination, but they are so soft today!

After seeing this video, there is no way I would do this. I also have all kinds of questions as to just how sanitary this is.

I'm so going to have to fake a gift voucher for my foot-hating Bloke's birthday. He even cringes when there's an advert on tv that involves foot scrubbing or exfoliation.

I'd give it a go myself though, if the salon could satisfy me that it was safe and I wasn't going to get some horrible fish lurgy.
