I agree. There's no need to wash your face in the morning unless you've been sleeping in a coal mine or something.

I like Dove products. I also bought the Wal-Mart brand of Cetaphil lotion and I put that on my face at night. It really helps with the dryness.

Glad to hear you've had some luck, Silver. I'm with Gator on the Vaseline as well. You might be hesitant to use it on acne-prone areas, but it works wonders around the lips and eyes, areas where you aren't likely to break out.

I recommend glycolic acid facials--they restore the ph balance in the skin.

I'm with Mira in the vitamins first bit. I take something caller "perfecta" which is a multi-vit that helps nails & hair. I also take cod liver oil. With lots of water... & then try not to burp.... (eugh!)
I have dry skin & invested in some neutrogena mini-mits (Glow pads?) they wash/exfoliate with one side the moisturise with the other.
I love garnier products because I'm a product-whore! They're cheap & I can throw them away when I get bored with them. But they do make-up remover cloths & different "strengths" of moisturiser. I'm older so I use their "stop" night moisturiser (with Vit C) for night.
I've also got Clinique exceptionally soothing & their moisture surge... and the Oil of Olay Definity (which I LOVE! But its expensive...)
I have dry & sensitive skin & it can react depending on which day it is, or if it feels like it or not (there seems to be no rhyme or reason for it!)
Hee hee! I did warn you!

I use DHC skin care line. It's from Japan and wonderful stuff. The skin care is olive oil based. My skin has honestly never looked better.

please excuse the delay, i had forgot to reply somehow..ok, for moisturizing masks you can try:

    1. egg yolk--just place on face after removing the white, then rinse off after 10-20 minutes

    2. honey--same instructions, very moisturizing

    3. olive oil--same, i think this one doesn't have to be left on very long at all, like 5-8 minutes, it absorbs quickly or something..

hope that helps...btw avoid the oatmeal/mud masks etc..they are more for cleansing and will dry out your skin a bit...

I swear by Arbonne products...I even use their body lotion as well. Lots of water is a big plus too.

But glad to hear that you found something that worked Silver.
