Funny how everyone's lips love something different. This winter I've had seriously peeling lips, and none of these worked: Vaseline, ChapStick, all-natureal ChapStick, Blistex rollerball, Rosebud Salve, or regular lipstick. I finally got the Burt's Bees Beeswax lip care in a tube and it's the only thing that keeps the giant flakes away.

My lips would be dry often, and so I went on this massive water kick to hydrate myself. Close to five liters a day, I noticed if I drank straight before bed I'd wake up with soft lips.

Also I highly recommend Luca's paw paw ointment. Fantastic for lips, elbows, heels, legs - will fix any dry spot.

Don't lick them, Allie. That makes them worse.
I am a chapstick addict. I have it in my car, in my nightstand by the bed, in my drawers at work, always alwasy extras laying all around, and in my purse.
I cannot cannot live without it.
Read that it's addictive. Totally believe it too.

I never have to use it, even in winter. I just don't lick my lips, and if they get dry i rub some hand moisturizer in them. Does the trick.

Drink unrefined coconut oil (tablespoon or two a day should do the trick) and put a little on your lips. That will totally fix that problem and make the rest of your skin softer, too!

I love the little balls of lip balm called "Ballmania". They're the only thing that works on my lips, and it's tasty!

Before these, I used something from Bath & Bodyworks "my favorite lip balm", but they discontinued it!

Try Palmer's cocoa butter stick or shea butter stick. I've been using them for years and years and they're great. (Love Carmex too; I swear that stuff would stay on through a hurricane.) Palmer's is inexpensive too. I use it at night and include the area outside my lips as well. My last stick lasted about 10 years.

Yes Yes Yes! coconut oil does wonders for the body and skin.
