Ooh I wish I could get a tattoo, I'm just too much of a pansy to go through with it. Do we have a tattoo pics thread? I'm always so intrigued by what people get, it tells so much about the person.

My tat is all color, including the outline. You can talk to your artist about that. Other colors can be used as outline. Blues, greens, and even purples really can set of the whole tattoo better than a flat black outline which can fade and change over time.

I went to a guy who specialized in colorful tats on tan and ethnic skin tones. He knows how to make the tat "pop". I had been told by several artists what I wanted couldn't be done, but he did it and did it well. I wanted a ghost fade, a bright blue to fade to "clear" then silver. He did it after his own co-artists told me that it could not be done. He is wonderful.

Not sure but I think if you ever want a tatt removed then green and red are the most difficult colours to erase completely, not black like you might think. The late Paula Yates had a big green tatt on her upper arm that she wanted to get rid of but had to have it altered into something else because the green couldn't be removed. But this was a few years ago so technology may have changed.
