You're right, mine isn't glitter, it's shimmer, and not that noticeable. I do think I would look weird in glitter (I'm in my thirties.) Lol.

Oh don't get me wrong. SHIMMER lotions/powders are really pretty I think on any age woman! I wear them myself for special occasions. It's that chunky stripper-esque GLITTER that looks tacky!

I don't find that with the powder kind, especially if you tap the excess off the brush before applying it.

^^ How well does the powder stay put, PB? Does it get on your clothes or anything? I really love the look of it for a night out.

I think it makes people look sweaty.

Of course, I live in the butthole of the South, it is hotter than hell down here, so people are sorta sweaty.

I love glitter (the make-up type only) and also love it in my hair. It is true that men do not notice, but I only use it because I like it.
My goal is to be happy with my life.

I wear glitter to work everyday. It really is a an attention getter. Depending on my mood , the type of shimmer i will wear. Its a real conversation starter.

I'm a big glitter person. I love lotions with shimmer and I've even gotten into wearing a skin highlighter over my make up on my cheeks to give that glowing look that the celebs always have.

I think glitter just makes the world a happier place.

Every time I see this thread I go "OMG, Glitter!" It instill in me a fight or flight response... seriously... glitter scares the crap out of me. That said; shimmers can be nice when used super ultra sparingly, Jergen's makes a good lotion.

I love subtle shimmers as well. I love Mac's powder shimmers. You can either brush them on or blend the powder with lotion.
