thanks for the review nawdle! good to know, I won't be buying any Estee Lauder eye shadows!

I think it depends on the shade of blue, it can look nice on brown eyes. I like shades that are closer to lavender.

If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.

I've also seen navy look really beautiful with dark brown eyes.

Nothing pisses me off more than buying a really pretty color eyeshadow and having it be a pale crappy color on my eye , one way to make the color stand out more is to fist layer your eyelid with a thin layer of your normal concealer and then out your shadow on top of that , it makes the color stick better and it help the color stand out more ,
P.S. Estee Lauder is made for older women who don't want bright color , I have tried to wear there stuff before and I can never see it show up , Clinque is the same way , you have to practically out the whole contanier on your eye to get it show up , it is a pain in the ass

Yeah, I finally got it to show up as bright as it looked in the box by applying Vaseline, then kind of "stippling" it on. I'll be damned if I spent $15 on something and never use it.

And you're right, Estee Lauder and Clinique pretty much suck when it comes to pigment density. I'd mainly stick with Smashbox and MAC...but they don't sell MAC here.

Where do you live ? that would be reason to mve if they didn't sell MAC where I lived , I have to drive about 45 minutes to get to a mall with it but it is worth it , either that or I order off of www.gloss.com

Unfortunately, the nearest MAC is in Mexico, I believe.

My eyes are green, and sometimes I use blue liner(PRESTIGE in Lagoon) and it looks nice... It's not like "wow, look at that blue liner" but rather "wow, look at those green eyes" btw my friend has blue, crystal blue eyes, and it looks good on her as well...
