Even underweight people with barely any thighs can get cellulite.

Does anyone remember the rage about 2 years or so ago for an anti-stretch mark creme that was going for a few hundred for a bottle? People found it so effective that they were using it on laugh lines. I remember the news here covering the shoppers going after it. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

Cellulite: avoiding processed foods as much as possible (yeah right) and drinking a lot of fluid in a day to stay very hydrated, which really works.

I've worked with my dermatologist to improve the skin's condition on my backside, and that actually helps in getting the skin to sit more smoothly over the cellulite bumps. I think that's all the cellulite cremes do: hypermoisturize so the skin is plumped a bit to be fuller over the fat and not reveal as much.

Anyone heard about the mechanical approach, which is sort of like massage but it's done with a contraption that looks like a big ultrasound device?

(I don't mean good if you get it, just other skinnies...I'm being a hater)

My body fat is measured at 6-8%. It doesn't vary from that. I have cellulite on my tush, and I'm muscular from working out a lot. Skinnies definitely get it! Mine started around 29, and my diet and workout habits didn't change to cause it.

^^You didn't have cellulite till age 29 I think I was around 13 and 100 lbs dripping wet to boot. Crazy, that is.

Maybe it's because it's genetic. All the girls in my family have it. I'm thin and you can't see mine unless you press down on the backs of my legs but it seems to have formed all the way down even the bottoms of my legs.

I'm not too worried not only because its hardly noticeable but also becasue its one of those things that at some point you just realize that 99% of women get this stuff. And you stop worrying. Kind of like how I used to try to pee quietly in public bathrooms. Whats the point? [Poop's another story ]

There's one thing called Velasmooth which is supposedly the only FDA approved treatment for cellulite:

Never had cellulite, but I've heard from others that the products just don't work.
