hub has never seen me WEARING makeup (well, maybe lipstick for our wedding). i have a nasty habit of rubbing my eyes when i'm tired or whatever. More than once
i've rubbed my eyes and turned the skin around them black like a raccoon. i'd like to think i'm a natural beauty, so i don't need makeup. LOL

I love makeup and don't usually leave the house with at least a little foundation/powder on my face and if nothing else some sheer lipstick. I don't think it's particularly noticeable to anyone but me, but it makes my skin look nicer. Depending on what I'm doing, I wear different amounts of eyeshadow and blush and I don't wear mascara when my allergies are bothering me. If I am going out at night and socializing, then I like wearing lots of different kinds of makeup. However, I don't try to make a habit out of sleeping in it, so I think 4 months as an average is kind of a long time. Maybe the women who get up an hour before their boyfriend/husband wakes up and put their makeup on with a trowel are throwing off the average?

Pluleeezzze. You gonna see me Sans Fard after the first time. Might see my holey pajamas bottoms too. I keep my elbows creamed though.

I used to work with a bimbo who got up an hour before her husband so she could do her hair and apply full war paint EVERY DAY. She didn't remove it before going to bed either so she had terrible clogged pores and crusty eyelashes.

I don't bother as much these days because I now wear specs and can't fucking see what I'm doing. But I NEVER leave the house without a spritz of perfume at least.

I need to have concealer under my eyes, mascara and some pressed powder on days I'm going out of the house. My previous boyfriends have all seen me without makeup. I'm so paranoid about breaking out that I can't sleep peacefully till I've scrubbed my face clean and put my moisturizer and retinol on. I'm not giving that up for anyone. Makeup can only do so much good when you have shitty skin to begin with. And I'm one of the unlucky ones whose skin breaks out if I look at it weird.

I put on a full face going to work, but that's for me rather than anyone else. I just like to look nice - though I think it's in my head for the most part, I don't have terrible skin so I probably look okay without makeup but I've conditioned myself by wearing makeup so often that without it I think I look a bit heinous. I've been told I don't look all that different without makeup so that's comforting. I haven't actually had to worry about a man for nearly a year now, but I don't give a crap if they see me without. It's better to clean your face before bed and be fresh faced in the morning than give them the shock of their life with mascara down your face and eyeshadow on your forehead.

I admit I am a bit insecure about my looks at times. I will take all my foundation etc off ( I don't wear heavy coverage tho) and leave my mascara on to go to bed. That way when I wake in the morning I still look okay that's providing the mascara doesn't streak etc. I've been lucky in the past all my bf's have complemented me in the mornings saying that's when I look the best. Not in my opinion tho. Eeep every morning I look in the mirror and think I have been in cat fights or the like in my sleep!!

These this cunt I work with & she has a full inch thick face full of pan-stick & bleached-to-within-an-inch-of-its-life blond hair teased into a helmet (ie how she used to look in the 80s!!!), her skin is terrible too but maybe it's all the poison from inside her escaping???

I'm a little creeped out by the amount of makeup some people are wearing. I mean, I love a good face of stage makeup for a performance; it's fun to play with your face. But some of these 'date night' makeup tutorials I see online look like a complete facial rebuild. If you don't look like you anymore when you're done(?) That doesn't seem right.
