Default Help! My haircolor is weird!

And I don't want to go to my hairdresser friend who will just say "I told you to come to me". I can't afford a stylist anymore. Nevertheless, my hair is a two-toned nightmare.

My roots are a golden blonde and the length/ends are ash blonde. I look ridiculous. I'm considering putting a golden gloss or temporary color over the lengths and ends - I don't want to color them any more and cause damage.

Some help? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

Which color do you want, golden or ash? If you are alright with the ash, you could always put the ash color on your roots and let sit, then apply more color all over for the last five minutes to even out the tone. Seems like the roots would be able to take a bit more color since they are the 'healthiest' hair.

Thanks for the advice! I'd prefer the ash color, but I was just paranoid about coloring my roots again.

What do you use, Tiki? Like Loreal ColorSpa and Clairol Natural Instincts, or do you use professional products?

Washing your hair in tomato ketchup is always a good one for taking out unwanted brassy colour.

I did the Clairol Complements Demi-Permanent in Dark Blonde. LOVE IT.

My youngest daughter went darker this time and she wanted to lighten it up. A stylist friend said to wash it with liquid washing powder...since it was semi permanent it would help it lighten up...she didn't notice much difference really...it finally lightened up on its on...
I alway color my own hair. I refuse to pay 40 bucks to color a few inches of hair! I get the same thing they use at the beauty supply store and have at it...matter of fact, I am coloring it tonight...
THE EASIEST WAY OUT IS THROUGH....
