    Default Best movie makeup ever

Since we already have a "best movie dresses ever", I thought it might be fun to post our favorite movie makeup. Please feel free to add your own.

Drew Berrymore in Ever After. The makeup was so soft and angelic.

Kate Winslet in Titanic. Can you tell I like period makeup?

    Keira Knightley in Pirates.
    President Barack Obama
    Sounds amazing, doesn't it?

Tippi Hedren in 'The Birds'.. gorgeous woman, but the minimal makeup enhanced her features in just the right way..

    Nicole Kidman in 'Moulin Rouge'..

    'The Aviator'..

I loved everything about Kate in Titanic. Make-up, clothes, hair. Just wish she would go back to red, but she is stunning either way.

Me too. She was at her optimal beauty in that movie. Loved the costumes, all of them.

Was red lipstick in 1912 historically accurate though? I thought the only women who wore noticeable makeup during that era were either prostitutes and/or scorned by society....?

Well, thank you! I mean, you just resolved a "dilemma". I have to cover my grey hair and was wondering whether to stay in the redhead family or go back to my original coloring that's more like dark blonde+light brown+golden & few auburn streaks - a nightmare of a mix to mimick so I can never go back to my "original color". Some people prefer me with golden blonde hair, maybe because it looks closer to my original hair color and they are used to it, but others seem to prefer way more the reddish "new" (-cover-grey-please) hue. I was trying to make up my mind, but since my skin color, makeup color range and overall complexion is very much like Kate in that pic (not nearly as pretty, bwah) I guess I will stay with the new hue .

Radha, how sweet of you... just want to clarify I do not look nearly as pretty as Kate Winslet, I think! (hope my partner thinks differently )

It's all prostetic, no CG, so I guess it counts as make up :-)
