    Default Waxing

I've never waxed in my life and I've heard so many positives and a few negatives about it so I thought I'd ask people who do it. I HATE, HATE shaving and do my under arms every second day, and they never look smooth because of the hair underneath. I also want to get rid of the hair on my lower legs for a longer period of time.

So questions about waxing- does anyone wax and swear by it? how long do you stay smooth? I know its painful but i have a high pain tolerance especially if it means no shaving for a few weeks. And is it true that the hair grows finer?

The negative- having to wait until its a certain length. But does anyone regularly wax legs and/or underarms?

I do & keep having less & less hair. It really doesn't hurt but a milli-second as long as the person knows what they are doing. You have to time it right-like wear only pants/jeans the week before & no sleeveless of course. But not that long. I love it! You have 6 weeks or so "off" after each waxing-a great relief!

But really, no stubble for 6 weeks - that is what I'm worried about - I'll have it done and in 1-2 weeks I'll be stubble again ...

^^ I think that's a myth, too. No stubble for six weeks? No way. I get my first stubbles after two weeks. Plus, you have to grow them really long until you can do it again.
Hello mother fucker! when you ask a question read also the answer instead of asking another question on an answer who already contain the answer of your next question!

What about a bikini wax? Is there the same risk of ingrowns as with shaving?

It would depend, i imagine, on how fast hair grows. This is where my hair pisses me off- it grows quickly to stub stage and stays there for weeks! Lucky my leg hair is blonde so its not noticeable when the stubs are in, but the hoo ha is a different story. And the hair has to be long for waxing right? So it'll take me forever!

    But i loathe shaving.
