What do you guys think about Asians with blonde hair?

Can it EVER look good? I know there's a lot of awful, scary looking blonde asians out there. But let's say that it was done at a really good salon, and the hair actually looks the right colour, and retains a healthy sheen.

Under those circumstances, do you think it can look kinda interesting? Has anyone done it, or seen it done well?

I saw an asian girl at a club once that had blonde hair that looked really good. She was absolutely gorgeous. It helped that she was stunning, of course... any hair would have looked good on her.

i've seen japanese kids pull off the bleached with dark roots look, or club kids
but IMO it only works when it's done so it's obvious it's a dye job, if that makes any sense

i've seen it and hate the look. It looks like they are wearing wigs.

Hm, okay yeah it's true that it'll never look natural and everyone will know that it's a dye job. But, that comes with being yellow/black/brown, whatever colour you dye it will obviously be fake. I don't really mind that in and of itself.

But aesthetically, y'all don't think it can look good??

I tried to google "asians" and "blonde hair" and well, as you can imagine, tons of porn!!!

it makes their hair look orange. it never looks right. if it looks great, its prolly a wig.

I personally prefer the natural dark look on any kind of olive or darker skin. I've thought about getting blonde highlights but I can't do it, I like my natural dark hair too much and I think I'd be mad to tamper with it, it goes perfect with the rest of my features!!!

Highlights look actually ok on black hair, I think. I've had some blonde highlights (and they were not brassy orange but more pale yellow blonde) and my natural hair is black. I wouldnt go totally blonde though, that's a bit extreme.

The blonde color looks unnatural.
That being said, only a few Asians I've come across actually looked good with blonde hair.

Blonde is such a hit or miss thing with anyone who's not born that way. You really need to know what you're doing, have a great stylist, or purposely going for the tacky look, for it to work.

I totally agree with you on this. I am Asian, and I just can't imagine myself with blonde or light hair.

I always feel Asians look best in their natural hair color.
