    Default Hair Mask

Do you any of you get deep conditioning treatments for your colored-treated hair? Is it easy to use the intesive products yourself?

I'm wanting to purchase Peppermint Mask by TG(Bed Head) and was wondering if it's worth the 20 bucks.

I use a hair mask once a week. I use Redken's Extreme Rescue Force and it works great. Yes I buy the products myself at the hair salon. I've never tried TG's hair masks but I do use their spray (Spoil Me) and I like it. Usually salon products like TG are more expensive but are worth the extra money.

Thanks. These products ARE VERY expensive. I'm finding that the prices between Barney's NY are the same as Target for this type item. Geeez!

Check ebay too - can usually get cheaper there even w/shipping...

I use the super cheap and effective warmed olive oil on the ends and love the results.

Mayonnaise. I have been using it for years. I mix some essential oil in it to kill the mayonnaise smell. I buy the mayonnaise in the squirt bottle and rub it all over my hair. Then I put it in a shower cap for about 1/2 hour. I know it's gross, but really well worth it.

Does that make your hair super oily. I've seen these products, but are they for caucasian?

Usually between 10 and 20 mins then give it a light shampooing. What I usually do is deep treat the ends before shampooing so I can clean it all at once after the oil soaks into the ends.

*blinks in amazement at what some women do for their hair*

No wonder girls cry on makeover shows when the hairdresser gets near them.

You're obviously not concerned, Grimy Locks!
